As a dedicated Call of Duty fan with countless hours spent mastering weapons and dominating virtual battlefields, I am thrilled to share my thoughts on the new additions coming our way in Modern Warfare 3 (MW3) and Warzone Season 5.
As an excited fan, I can’t wait for the upcoming Season 5 update in Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone! In this new update, I’ll get my hands on some fresh weapons that will join the existing gun pool. Among these newbies are two powerhouses with the potential to significantly change the gameplay dynamics, adding an extra layer of excitement and strategy. Plus, there are a few special additions thrown in for good measure to keep things engaging and unpredictable!
Here are all of the new guns in Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone Season 5.
Warzone & MW3 new weapons in Season 5
In Season 5, there will be four fresh weapons joining the roster: the Static-HV, STG, Spear, and Torque 35. The initial pair, Static-HV and STG, will become accessible upon the July 24 update’s arrival. The Spear and Torque 35 are scheduled to debut with the mid-season update.
Static-HV SMG
In Season 5, you can obtain the latest Static-HV Submachine Gun by progressing through the Battle Pass in Sector 6. This compact, rapid-fire machine gun, which uses 5.7x28mm ammunition, boasts a large magazine capacity and is perfect for taking down opponents at close quarters.
STG Assault Rifle
ActivisionThe STG has been featured in over 10 Call of Duty titles.The STG Assault Rifle, known for its powerful hits, is back and can be obtained through the Battle Pass in Sector 7. Much like its earlier versions, this weapon boasts manageable recoil, making it a breeze to use. Its distinctive iron sight comes without the need for an additional attachment, enabling you to optimize its capabilities and rule the long-range battlefield.
Spear Melee
If you enjoy fighting up close, the Spear Melee is the ideal weapon for you. Obtainable through the Classified Sector of the Battle Pass following the Season 5 Reloaded update, you’ll receive three spears upon spawning. Feel free to hurl them, use them to strike enemies in tight spaces, or pin adversaries against walls.
Torque 35 Launcher
ActivisionThe last CoD game to feature a usable bow was 2020’s Black Ops Cold War.As a gamer, I can tell you that the Torque 35, despite being called a “Launcher,” is more like a “powerful compound bow with a quiver holding twenty arrows at the ready.” With its built-in red dot sight, each shot becomes incredibly accurate. Plus, there’s an added element of excitement with the unique weapon inspection feature.
As a gamer, I can tell you that this weapon provides excellent control for me in the game. It enables me to fire off successive shots rapidly, just like Rambo’s bow in Warzone Caldera. The more forcefully I pull back on the weapon, the stronger and faster the projectiles become.
The Gunsmith allows you to select different kinds of ammunition as well, such as thermite, explosive, and gas-filled arrowheads.
When Season 5 begins on July 24, no matter which weapon you choose, it’s essential to optimize your controller settings and sound configuration for maximizing kills and earning XP to access all the fresh content.
