What’s intriguing is that each new region (episode) in this game presents distinct vocations, some of which are available for free, while others require payment. These professions enable you to gather resources, vanquish hostile beings, and progress through the main storyline of the game. This tutorial will show you how to access every profession in ‘Brighter Shores‘!

How To Unlock All Professions In Brighter Shores

In our game, professions don’t get activated from the get-go. Similar to the ‘Invite Friends’ option, they can be accessed only after completing certain initial quests found in Hopeport.

When you converse with Corporal Binns, he’ll acquaint you with the starting careers within the game and task you to complete your training in Hopeport by achieving a total rank of 60. To safeguard the town from Goblin invasions, recuperate after enemy assaults, and successfully complete the first stage, you’ll need to improve several of your abilities. The town of Hopeport has five vocations available for you; here’s how to unlock each one:

1. Blacksmith: Speak with the smithy in the town square.
2. Alchemist: Find the herbalist near the marketplace and purchase an alchemy kit from them.
3. Hunter: Explore the outskirts of Hopeport and defeat the required number of animals for a hunter’s license.

Chef Cook meals and sell them for money. Buy ingredients from Kevin’s Ingredients on Stone Street and make a Basic Bacon Sandwich at The Delectable Dab Kitchen.
Fisherwoman / Fisherman Cook seafood dishes like Grilled Bass or Garlic Herring. Get a Fishing Spear from Melv’s Fishing Supplies in Town Square and catch any fish—start with Mottled Flounder (Level Zero) on East Beach.

As a gamer, I’m diving into the thrilling second episode of Brighter Shores titled “Hopeforest”. In this adventure, it falls on me to purify a colossal crystal and shield the lush forest and its enchanting inhabitants from the sinister magic that looms, threatening to taint them. The Hopeforest chapter welcomes four fresh professions into the fold, each offering unique skills that will undoubtedly aid me in my quest.

Scout Combat higher-level monsters in Hopeforest. Kill any Hopeforest exclusive foes (Level Zero), including Ragged Outlaws, Vagabond Goblins, and Grizzly Bears.
Woodcutter Gather wood to make lumber, poles, and planks with the Carpenter profession and use them to craft Guardian faction weapons in later episodes. Purchase a Hand Saw from Morauce the Hatchet Man at Timberwell Green and use it to cut the Coarse Ash Log (Level Zero) right there.
Gatherer Make special potions at Apothecary’s Potion Reagents or sell herbs and fruits at Timberwell Supplies in Hopeforest. Pick Veined Globeplants (Level Zero) on the Road to Hopeport to unlock the Gatherer Profession.
Carpenter Create wooden items for quests and other professions. Head to the Carpenter’s Workshop at Timberwell Green and use Coarse Ash Logs in the Circular Saw to make planks.

All Professions In Mine Of Mantuban

In the third installment of “Brighter Shores”, titled “Mine of Mantuban”, characters endeavor to rid a colossal crystal buried deep, of corruption. This episode presents five fresh vocations:

5. The Guardian

Mine of Mantuban Professions Skill Obtained How To Unlock It
Minefighter Deal with advanced level opponents in the Mine of Mantuban. Defeat level-zero creatures like Haggard Minecrawler.
Bonewright Create weapons and shields for the Guardian class. Travel back to Hopeforest to collect Goat Horns (Crooked) from the Bear Clearing and Two Headed Bear Clearing. You can also buy some from Jangle’s Bone Shop at Bridge Cavern in Episode Three. Then, head to the Bone Vats in the Mine of Mantuban and use the B.R.E.W.S Machine to turn the Goat Horn into Brewed Bones, unlocking the Bonewright profession. Fans can also craft the Truncheon (Basic Level) weapon using these Brewed Bones to level up Bonewright to level one quickly.
Miner Mining minerals to help make weapons and gear for other classes. Grab the free Pickaxe from the rock at the Abandoned Mining Cavern and mine Coarse Flint (Level Zero).
Blacksmith Build weapons and shields for the Cryoknight class. Mine some Iron Ore from the Bridge Cavern, go to the Goblin Workshop, and put it into the Goblin Smelter to create Iron Ingots to kick off this skill.
Stonemason Make weapons and shields for the Hammermage class. To unlock the Stonemason profession, collect Flint and catch some Gas Leeches at the Leech Pools. Fill the leeches with gas from the Gas Vents at the Gassy Grotto. Then, go to the Sculpting Room and use the T.E.A. Machine to turn the Flint into Coarse Flint (Etched).

The Bone Vats is found southwest of the Mine’s Entrance. After players activate the Southwest Portal in the Mine, they can conveniently reach both the Sculpting Room and the Goblin Workshop without much hassle.

All Professions In Crenopolis

In the early stages of gameplay, the fourth and concluding chapter for players is called Crenopolis. Much like Mantuban’s Mine, these professions within this episode are exclusive to those who have upgraded to a premium pass. Detective Catch city thieves, complete crime den raids, and investigations. Deliver Captain Jal Degreene’s letter to Captain Waltain, buy handcuffs from the Desk Sergeant, and apprehend thieves at Waterfront in Crenopolis.
Leatherworker Craft leather from animal hides. Purchase Basic White Cow Hide from the Hide Stall at Waterfront and make White Cow Leather at the Tannery.
Merchant Fulfill bounties and become a member of the Merchant’s Guild. Visit the Guild Bounty Board at Merchant’s Guild and complete bounties.
