All Rewards in the Marathon Server Slam Beta

Marathon is letting everyone play a free preview version of the game in an event called a ‘Server Slam.’ Not only can you try out this new sci-fi shooter from Bungie, but you’ll also earn rewards for participating! We’ll cover how to join the Server Slam and what goodies you can look forward to when Marathon officially launches.

How to Join the Marathon Open Beta

You can join the Marathon server slam by downloading the game for free from your favorite gaming platform. Just visit Steam, the Xbox store, or the PlayStation store and search for Marathon. You’ll find it available for free download on the game’s store page.

When Does the Marathon Server Slam Beta Start & End?

I’m so excited! The open beta for Marathon starts February 26th at 10 AM Pacific Time and runs until March 2nd at 10 AM PT. Then, just a few days later, on March 5th, the full game is launching! It’s going to be a premium extraction shooter, which sounds amazing.

As a gamer, I’m really excited that Marathon lets you play with friends no matter what console they’re on! Plus, if I ever switch consoles, I don’t have to worry about losing all my hard work – my progress carries over. That’s a huge relief!

All Marathon Open Beta Rewards

Players participating in the server slam can earn rewards if they complete certain tasks. These rewards will be available when the full game launches, but progress made during the beta marathon itself won’t transfer to your regular account. Here’s a breakdown of the rewards and how to get them:

  • Complete the introductory mission
    • Unique player background and emblem
  • Complete your first mission
    • ​​​​​​​6x Standard Implants
    • 4x Standard Runner Shell Cores
    • 6x Standard Weapon Chip Mods
    • Overrun and Hardline (Weapons)
  • Reach Runner Level 10
    • ​​​​​​​6x Enhanced Implants
    • Enhanced Runner Shell Cores (2x for each Shell)
    • 4x Enhanced Weapon Chip Mods
    • Enhanced Magnum and Enhanced Hardline (Weapons)
  • Reach Runner Level 30
    • ​​​​​​​3x Deluxe Implants and 3x Enhanced Implants
    • Deluxe and Enhanced Runner Shell Cores (1x of each type for each Runner Shell)
    • Deluxe and Enhanced Weapon Chip Mods (2x of each)
    • Deluxe Magnum and Enhanced Volley Rifle

All rewards will only be available upon Marathon’s launch on March 5.

What to Expect in Marathon’s Server Slam Beta

  • Two maps: Perimeter and Dire Marsh
  • Quests/Contracts for five different factions (MIDA, Arachne, NuCaloric, Traxus, and CyberAcme)
  • Five of the six Runner Shells (classes)
  • Scavenger Runs
  • Solo and Squad matchmaking options

I’m so excited for the future of this game! They’ve promised tons more content is coming, like new maps to run around in, cool new outfits for our Runners, even more weapons to unlock, and a proper Ranked mode so we can really test our skills. It’s going to be awesome!
