The Armor of the Shadows set has 5 awesome-looking pieces. If you’re looking to improve both your character’s appearance and armor in Crimson Desert, here’s how to collect the full set without battling Beloth the Darksworn.
We’ve compiled a guide to all the gear locations and stats, plus how to obtain them. This way, you can explore the world and get awesome outfits without having to overcome tough bosses just to look your best.
How to Get the Plate Helm of the Shadows (Frostcursed Plate Helm) in Crimson Desert

- Location: Hoenmark Ruins after defeating Beloth, the Darksworn.
Currently, the Plate Helm of the Shadows can only be obtained by defeating Beloth, the Darksworn. You’ll find this boss during the “Wraith in the Frost” quest for the House Lanford faction in the Hoenmark Ruins. Be warned, though – Beloth is a very challenging opponent. We’re still searching for other ways to get the Plate Helm of Shadows and will update this guide when we find them. In the meantime, the Frostcursed Plate Helm (pictured) is a great alternative.
- For now, head to Chattering Rocks (on the map above), which is far north of the “D” in “Demeniss”.
- Inside Chattering Rocks, you’ll find a wall covered in vines, which can be burned down with Blinding Flash (L1+R1+L1).
- Inside the room, there’s a Treasure Chest that contains the Frostcursed Plate Helm.
- Be warned, there are some pretty tough stone enemies in this area that need to be killed to liberate it.

- Location: Everfrost Watchtower in the Argent Peaks, north of Hernand.
- Head north of the “H” and Hoenmark Ruins to find the Everfrost Watchtower.
- In the south area, you’ll find a locked door in a rock wall.
- Turn on the lantern here by interacting with it to open the door.
- Inside a Treasure Chest, you’ll find the Plate Armor of the Shadows, but be careful of the Bleed Bandits stationed here.
How to Get the Plate Cloak of the Shadows in Crimson Desert

- Location: Hoenmark Ruins, north of “H” in “Hernand”.
- The Hoenmark Ruins have a blizzard, so you’ll take damage, so make sure you have plenty of food or Ice-Resistant armor.
- There are flying enemies here, so try to avoid them and run straight to the location marked above, which is on a rooftop to the left of the Hoenmark Ruins.
- On the floor is a snowy brick pattern. Crouch, then use Force Palm on the ground to flip the floor and drop into a room.
- There’s a Treasure Chest in this room that contains the Plate Cloak of the Shadows.

- Location: Everfrost Cave, far east area of Hernand.
- Follow the river underneath “Hernand” on the map, and then take a left up the rocky mountains.
- There’s an entrance in the wall (marked on the map above) that can be entered.
- Inside, you’ll find the Plate Gloves of the Shadows.
How to Get the Plate Boots of the Shadows in Crimson Desert

- Location: Frostclaw Cave, southwest river underneath “Hernand” on the map.
- Follow the river to the west underneath “Hernand” on the map.
- When at the location marked on the map above, you’ll find a waterfall.
- Stand at the waterfall and use Stab (R1+Triangle) to enter inside, where you’ll find a Treasure Chest containing the Plate Boots of the Shadows.
