In much the same way as most Metroidvania games preceding it, the game Shadow Labyrinth is filled with a variety of items for players to uncover. Among these treasures, you’ll often come across the elusive Sparkling Stones. However, similar to other aspects of Shadow Labyrinth, there isn’t much guidance provided on how to use or what to do with these special stones. This guide will demonstrate where to find and where to deliver the Sparkling Stones in Shadow Labyrinth.
Where to Take Sparkling Stones in Shadow Labyrinth
Progress to the Land of the Fugitives:

To use your Sparkling Stones within Shadow Labyrinth, you first need to travel to Bosconian Village located in the Land of the Fugitives. Here’s a step-by-step guide to get there:
1. Navigate through these specific areas:
– Begin your journey from where you currently are.
– Make your way towards the Enchanted Forest.
– After passing through the Enchanted Forest, you will arrive at the Whispering Caverns.
– Exit the Whispering Caverns and find yourself in the Valley of Shadows.
– Cross the Valley of Shadows to reach the edge of Bosconian Village, your final destination within the Land of the Fugitives.
- Remote Prison
- Barren Volcano
- Sky-High Tree
- Torn Lands
- Giant Black Tower
- Land of the Fugitives
Upon arriving at the village, you’ll come across both the Chief and her daughter, Anpulane. Anpulane is the character who accumulates Sparkling Stones, but when you initially encounter her, you won’t be able to give her the stones. First, you must engage in a duel with Thebe, then venture into the Forbidden Lands in pursuit of the Spark-Bit and the Dimension Warp Capsule.
As I venture beyond Bosconian Village and delve into the Forbidden Lands, I can always make my way back to Anpulane and deposit my treasures – the shimmering stones I’ve unearthed during my journey. Depositing these stones will grant me a grand total of five rewards, each bestowed at distinct milestones along the way. The ultimate reward comes after depositing 98 Sparkling Stones – quite possibly the maximum number of such precious stones scattered throughout this world.
In the throne room of Bosconian Village, located to the left of the Bosconian Village Miku Sol, is where you can find Anpulane. Enter there and you’ll see her before the throne. Speak with her to start the procedure for returning the stones.
Sparkling Stone Rewards:

Sparking Stones | Reward |
---|---|
10 | Map Marker Set |
30 | Heavy Armor Perk |
50 | Perk Capacitor |
70 | HP Tank |
98 | Anpulane’s Gift |
How to Get Sparkling Stones in Shadow Labyrinth
Collectibles & Combat:
In Shadow Labyrinth, there are primarily two ways to discover Sparkling Stones. The first method is by conducting regular expeditions, which encompasses a large percentage of locations within the labyrinth. Within this maze, you’ll find two primary types of collectibles: Red and Yellow Crystals. Red Crystals hold every Max HP and ESP enhancement, valuable materials for gameplay, and essentially all other relevant items in the game.
Essence Stones, which are common trinkets, can often be found throughout the game. These items may contain lore excerpts, but it’s hard to tell for sure before picking one up. However, keep in mind that some of these Essence Stones might also be Radiant Gems. You’ll encounter your first Radiant Gems as you explore, but you won’t really need to search for them diligently until you acquire ACTIV Shot, Double-Jump, and ESP Quake abilities. These skills are acquired either before or immediately after gaining access to Bosconian Village. Once you have these three abilities, you’ll be able to navigate every corner of the game.
In the game called Shadow Labyrinth, the second approach to collecting Sparkling Stones involves unique battle encounters. Similar to many metroidvania games, Shadow Labyrinth has rooms that can only be exited after defeating every enemy within. Occasionally, if you successfully clear one of these locked combat chambers, you’ll receive a reward – usually a Sparkling Stone.
Alternatively, you can discover Shimmering Gems by vanquishing the unique glittering aerial robots. These are typically concealed in secluded, secret nooks. Since these adversaries are rarely vulnerable to sword strikes, you’ll need to employ special abilities such as ESP Blast or ESP Grenade to eliminate them. After defeating them, utilize GAIA’s Devour function. Remember to accumulate enough ESP for Devour, or you might miss your opportunity to obtain the gem.
Here’s what I’ve managed to uncover regarding the ways to obtain Sparkling Stones at this point. Should I stumble upon any new techniques, I’ll be sure to update this collection. (As a fan, I’m always on the lookout for more!)
