All Spectre Divide Ranks (& How to Unlock Ranked)

“As a veteran gamer with countless hours spent in competitive shooter games, I have to say that Spectre Divide has truly outdone itself with its Ranked Mode. The unique twist on the traditional FPS ranking system and the thrill of climbing through the ranks is unmatched.

In a new take on the classic first-person shooter style, the recently launched “Spectre Divide” from Mountaintop Studio offers an engaging twist. The innovative mechanics of the game, notably the use of Spectre to vanquish adversaries, have garnered widespread acclaim among enthusiasts since its early access debut.

Besides its laid-back setting, Spectre Divide also includes a competitive ranked mode similar to numerous other shooter games. In this mode, battles become tougher, and players engage in intense matchups as they strive to achieve the prestige of ascending the ranking ladder.

In the game “Spectre Divide”, the competitive mode is officially titled Ranked Mode and will become available starting September 6, 2024. Yet, players won’t have immediate access to this mode; instead, they must first win five casual matches before being granted access.

Kick off ranked games by first accessing the game’s primary interface and picking your desired match type from the available options. To initiate the matchmaking system, opt for “Ranked” and press the “Battle” or equivalent button.

After unlocking the Ranked Mode, you’ll need to play and win five initial matches to earn your first in-game rank. These ranked games require a two-round advantage over your opponent, similar to games like Valorant or Counter-Strike 2. Once you’ve claimed your starting rank, you can then strive to excel in either Solo Ranked or Team Ranked mode to climb your way towards the highest rank achievable in the game.

In the game Spectre Divide, there’s a single queue for ranked matches regardless of whether you’re playing solo or as part of a team. This means that players aiming for team rankings might encounter opponents who are playing individually. Conversely, when you opt for the solo rank, your opponents will be chosen based on the number of people in your party.

Participating and emerging victorious in the games will earn you Santai Ratings (SR), helping improve your position. However, it’s only winning matches that accrue Santai Rating points; losing any ranked match could even cause a deduction in SR. The SR can fluctuate anywhere between a gain of +40 and a loss of -40 points, depending on the result of each contest.

One distinctive feature of Spectre Divide’s ranking system compared to other first-person shooter games lies in its distinct categorization for individual and team players. Individual rankings function much like those in most FPS games, where they can either rise or fall depending on your performance during a game. The categories for individual ranks are:

  • Bronze I, II, III, IV
  • Silver I, II, III, IV
  • Gold I, II, III, IV
  • Platinum I, II, III, IV
  • Emerald I, II, III, IV
  • Ruby I, II, III, IV
  • Diamond I, II, III, IV
  • Champion

Instead of just evaluating individual performance, the team rating takes into account how effectively your group of three plays together. Unlike the solo rank, this ranking is distinct, and you’ll need to switch to the Team Rank mode prior to joining the ranked matches. Your position within these team ranks will be determined separately from your solo rank.

  • Undiscovered I, II, III, IV
  • Prospect I, II, III, IV
  • Talent I, II, III, IV
  • Professional I, II, III, IV
  • Elite I, II, III, IV
  • International I, II, III, IV
  • Superstar I, II, III, IVr
  • World Class I, II, III, IV
  • Champion

Rank Progress System Explained

In the game Spectre Divide, each rank features a SR (Skill Rating) range of 0 to 200. If you exceed this limit, you move up to the next rank; but if your SR falls below zero, you’ll be demoted to a lower one. You’ll gain 50 SR for every promotion, which helps you adapt to the new rank and prevents an immediate drop. Any extra SR you earn will be accumulated and added to your next tier.

If you’re moved to a lower rank, you’ll lose the additional 50 SR points that came with your previous promotion bonus.
