To open the door near the Gate of Life camp on Starsand Island, you’ll need to collect three Gravemites (also known as Gravecrystals). Going deeper into the Moonlit Forest is essential for progressing with quests and gathering valuable resources.

Okay, so here’s the deal: those Gravemite veins on Starsand Island look exactly like Fluorite, which is super annoying. I probably walked right past a bunch without even noticing! That’s why I put together this guide – it lists every single Gate of Life Gravemite location on the island, so you don’t waste your time searching like I did.

All Starsand Island Gate of Life Gravemite Locations

To unlock the Gate of Life in Moonlit Forest, you’ll need to locate and mine three Gravecrystals using your pickaxe.

Gate of Life Gravemite Location 1

You’ll find the first Life Gate Gravemite near the ruined bridge, a little northeast of the Evernight Forest camp. Mine it with your pickaxe, then use 15 Stone to fix the bridge. This will allow the Gravestar to move forward and reach the locked door at the Life Gate.

If you’re out of Stone, you can get more by mining the boulders and rocks around you with your pickaxe.

Gate of Life Gravemite Location 2

You can find this Gravemite in the Gate of Life camp, a short distance from the tent and heading towards the locked door you need to unlock.

Gate of Life Gravemite Location 3

The final Gravemite for the Gate of Life on Starsand Island is found on the small cliffs just south of the Gate itself. From the Gate of Life camp, follow the path downwards, and you’ll see it glowing at the southernmost point. Simply jump up onto the cliff to mine it, releasing the last Gravestar and allowing you to continue into the Moonlit Forest.
