Where to Find All Suit Doves in Heartopia
The Suit Doves are a delightful addition to the Dreamlight Valley event, appearing in the second week of the Cinematics challenges. These charming birds resemble classic rock doves, but they’re dressed in miniature formal wear! They come in a variety of colorful suit styles and wear adorable ties, making them truly unique among the creatures in the valley.
You can find Suit Doves in two ways: by simply hunting them as you explore the game world, or by taking part in the Actor Dove Event. This special event is like a bird-watching challenge that makes Suit Doves appear more often, and it also improves your chances of getting great photos – which are important for earning better rewards.
At the time of writing, there are five types of Suit Doves you can find in Heartopia:
- Blue Suit Dove
- Gray suit Dove
- Green suit Dove
- Red Suit Dove
- Striped Suit Dove
Blue Suit Dove Location
The Blue Suit Dove is the simplest dove to locate. You can find it in the Spirit Oak Pine Forest. The open area makes it easier to follow its movements and get a clear picture.
This dove is easy to find because it appears at any time of day and in any weather, even during rainbows! You can also find a lot of them during the Actor Dove Event.
Gray Suit Dove Location
Although it looks a bit more understated, the Gray Suit Dove is just as rare and valuable as the other colored doves. You can find it in the Deer Tower area of the Forest, and it appears at all times of day and in any weather.
Similar to other birds in Dreamlight Valley, the Gray Suit Dove can appear during the Actor Dove Event, making it much easier to find. If you’re having trouble locating it normally, starting the event will significantly increase your chances of spotting one quickly.
Green Suit Dove Location
You can find the Green Suit Dove close to the Forest Jump Puzzle, which is a fun and somewhat tricky area in The Forest. Because many players visit this location, you’re likely to encounter the Green Suit Dove while participating in the Dreamlight Cinematics event.
This dove appears in any weather, at any time of day, meaning you can look for it whenever you like. However, the area it’s found in can be quite crowded, so you might need to check several times before you spot a Green Suit Dove. It’s also possible to find one during the Actor Dove Event.
Red Suit Dove Location
You can find the Red Suit Dove on Forest Island. This island is somewhat isolated, so it might seem harder to find while exploring on your own. However, it appears much more frequently during the Actor Dove Event, where it spawns alongside other colored Suit Doves.
Striped Suit Dove Location
The Striped Suit Dove is unique because it doesn’t appear on its own in the game world. You can only get it by completing a secret second part of the Actor Dove Event, which happens close to the Forest Jump Puzzle.
To begin this part of the process, you need to join the Actor Dove bird-watching event. You can start by using the Bird-watching Device.
The game doesn’t directly tell you what’s needed to start the next part of the event, but it will begin automatically. You’ll know it’s started because things will change – enemies will appear differently, and you’ll finally encounter the Striped Suit Dove. This is designed to encourage players to explore everything the event has to offer, rather than just getting the simplest rewards and finishing quickly.

How to Participate in the Actor Dove Event
The Actor Dove event isn’t just about collecting birds—it’s a special, temporary activity that happens with Dreamlight Valley’s updates. Similar to the Frostspore Butterfly event, it causes lots of doves to appear together in one spot, which is perfect for taking photos!
You no longer need to search all over for Suit Doves – they’re now gathered in one convenient location. This makes it easier to take better photos, which earn you significantly more rewards. While basic photos give you a small amount of tokens and coins, higher-quality photos will greatly increase your earnings.
To join the Actor Dove Event, go to the Jump Puzzle area in the valley and use the Birdwatching Device. Like other events in Heartopia, it only happens at certain times, so be sure to check the schedule. You can play this event by yourself or invite friends to help catch these adorable creatures. The event icon is visible on the map, making the device easy to find.
