All Sword of Trials Challenge Locations in Crimson Desert

Crimson Desert offers many things to do, and collecting Sealed Abyss Artifacts is a great way to earn extra skill points or complete everything the game has to offer. These artifacts unlock when you meet specific requirements. For the Sword of Trials, you’ll need strong combat skills to succeed in the challenges. Below are the locations and how to unlock each of the six Sword Master challenges in Crimson Desert.

Crimson Desert — Sword of Trials 1

  • Defeat 3 enemies within 30 seconds using a one-handed sword.

The first Sword challenge in Crimson Desert is found north of Hernand, close to the large bridge over the canyon. You can easily get the Sealed Abyss Artifact from a small shrine located near the road.

This Sword challenge is likely the simplest one. You just need to defeat three enemies while using a one-handed sword. Since most groups of enemies contain more than three, it should be quite easy to finish.

Having trouble locating the Sealed Abyss Artifacts? Try using Blinding Flash, or keep an eye out for purple icons on your minimap – they’ll point you in the right direction.

Crimson Desert — Sword of Trials 2

  • Defeat 3 enemies at once using a one-handed sword.

The second challenge is located in the Steel Mountains, southeast of Hernand. You’ll find it at a shrine on the circular road that winds around the mountain near the Spire of Insight.

This challenge requires you to defeat three enemies simultaneously. It’s easiest to do this with bandits near the Hernandian Territory, as they’re weaker than enemies in other areas. To increase your chances of success, equip and fully upgrade a powerful weapon, then use the Turning Slash attack.

Enemies waiting by the road are the easiest to defeat, since they tend to stay grouped together before fighting. Use Turning Slash to ambush them and quickly clear this area.

Crimson Desert — Sword of Trials 3

  • Defeat 3 enemies with a sword without taking damage.

To find the third Sword challenge, head to the crossroads close to the Goldleaf Trading Post, which is located between Anvil Hill and Howling Hill. This challenge is fairly simple – you can complete it by just blocking or dodging enemy attacks. It’s best to take out any archers first, so they don’t bother you while you’re dealing with other opponents.

Crimson Desert — Sword of Trials 4

  • Defeat 3 enemies at once with a Sword Turning Slash attack.

You’ll find this challenge on the road to the Kilnden Workshop, west of Hernand. It’s very similar to Sword of Trials 2, so any progress you made on that challenge will carry over here.

Crimson Desert — Sword of Trials 5

  • Defeat 3 enemies in a row with only Stab attacks.

You can find the Sealed Abyss Artifact for this challenge deep within Demeniss. If you’re coming from the south, look for it near the first turnoff towards Reventine Winery. The goal of this challenge is simple: defeat enemies by stabbing them. Be careful not to hold down the attack button after each stab, or you might accidentally do a Forward Slash, which could cause you to fail.

Crimson Desert — Sword of Trials 6

  • Defeat 5 enemies within 15 seconds with a one-handed sword using Forward Slash.

The last Sword challenge in Crimson Desert is located on Serpent Marsh, an island south of Demeniss city. You can get there by crossing over the top of the waterfall.

Okay, so once I get to the spot on the map, I need to stand facing the big Buddha statue. Then, I look to my right – there should be some stairs there. I just follow those stairs all the way up until the path forks. I take the right path, then hang a left. The Sealed Abyss Artifact is supposed to be on a shrine somewhere close by!

To complete this task, simply locate a large group of enemies and repeatedly use the Forward Slash attack. If your Stamina runs low, quickly eat a food item to replenish it and keep attacking.
