All Totem of Revelations locations and buffs in Avowed

In the game Avowed, the Totem of Revelations is the third totem mission. This adventure unfolds within the Shatterscarp region and, just like before, tasks you with discovering seven distinct Totem fragments. As a reward, your character gains six substantial boosts.

In this section, we’ll walk you through where each fragment of the Totem of Revelations can be found, and guide you on how to successfully finish the Totem of Revelations mission in the game ‘Avowed’.

Totem of Revelations locations in Avowed

As an avid player of Avowed, I find myself on a quest to gather seven essential components to assemble the “Eye of the Obscured” totem. Similar to the Totems of Rightful Rulership and Defiance from earlier regions in the game, the Totem of Revelations is a coveted prize. Upon placing it at my party camp, this mystical artifact bestows six extraordinary bonuses upon me.

This manual points out the specific spots where each fragment of the Totem of Revelations is found, as well as the benefits you’ll receive upon completing the totem. Here are the specific locations for your reference:

This way, it’s more conversational and easier to understand for a casual reader.

Eyes of the Obscured (Totem Base)

Initially, we come across the Totem Base, known as the “Eyes of the Veiled.” This artifact is relatively simple to locate since it’s positioned close to the map’s beginning, to the south of Eagle’s Reach. To retrieve it, you need to venture into the Shrine of Wael. You can access this shrine by leaping onto some rocks on the edge of the vast pink coral that curves over the road heading south from Eagle’s Reach. The Totem Base is found on a mantle there, surrounded by coral and mushrooms.

Ruby Eye

To find the Ruby Eye, make sure to remain within the sanctuary of Wael’s Shrine. Just to the right of the mantle where you discovered the Eyes of the Concealed Totem Base, there’s a covert opening in the wall, small enough for crouching. Continue along this concealed pathway until you come across an entrance. At this point, you will encounter an NPC named the Ward of the Eye.

As a gamer, I’d put it like this: “I engage in conversation with the Ward of the Eye, expressing my intent to claim the Ruby Eye. After our chat, I reach down and pick up the radiant Ruby Eye from the nearby blanket. With the Shrine behind me, I set off towards Wael, ready for what lies ahead.

Agate Eye

After leaving the Shrine of Wael, your next target is the Agate Eye totem piece. To find it, journey across the treacherous Shatterscarp to the Sand Sea Ruins situated in the map’s far northeastern corner. These ruins lie beneath Shark’s Teeth, but are located more towards the northeast side of the Great Sand Sea. Once there, make your way to the top of a tower within the ruins and descend one level. You will find yourself on a wooden platform directly under an open ceiling.

Follow a well-lit green path under an archway at this level, and you’ll discover the Agate Eye resting on a table inside the adjacent room.

Amethyst Eye

Moving forward, we come across the Amethyst Eye, less challenging to access than the Agate Eye. The Amethyst Eye is situated southeast of the Ancient Lakebed. Follow the primary road dividing the Ancient Lakebed from the Abandoned Mine site, which lies northwest of Thirdborn. Upon this route, you’ll encounter a small cave where the Amethyst Eye can be found resting on a stone amidst some luminescent blue mushrooms.

Topaz Eye

The fifth artifact in the series of Totems of Revelations is called the Topaz Eye. This treasure can be discovered within a cave situated close to the region known as Shatterscarp, specifically near the Leviathan’s Hollow area. It’s essential to note that the Leviathan’s Hollow lies south of Naku Kabel Approach, a significant location in the game Avowed. Alternatively, you can access this area from Deadfall Highlands as well. Navigating through Leviathan’s Hollow can be challenging due to its underwater exploration requirements, with various caves linked by swimming.

You’re searching for a cave containing the Topaz Eye, which can be accessed either by swimming beneath the water or through an opening in the cave’s wall. The Topaz Eye is positioned on a table close to a healing elixir.

Emerald Eye

The next-to-last Totem of Revelations artifact is called the Emerald Eye. This artifact sits atop a short column positioned in the heart of Shark’s Teeth area within Shatterscarp. To access this column, make your way close to Pargrun Cache and ascend the ramp moving towards the north. When you reach the top of the column, look westward; there, you’ll find another column with a wooden platform for climbing up.

The last but one Totem of Revelations is called the Emerald Eye. To find it, go near Pargrun Cache, then climb the ramp heading north. Once at the top, look to the west and you’ll see another column with a ladder made of wood for climbing up. This column is in the central part of the Shark’s Teeth area of Shatterscarp.

The Emerald Eye can be found perched atop a column, close to both a safe-box and a message. Ascend the column step by step until you reach its peak for a successful discovery of it.

Sapphire Eye

In summary, the final piece of the Totem of Revelations puzzle is the Sapphire Eye. To locate it, venture towards the Sand Sea Oasis, found close to the Sand Sea Ruins in the map’s far eastern region. Remarkably, this location also forms part of the “One Last Drink” quest in the game Avowed.

At the Sand Sea Oasis, take a dip in the sparkling pond and make your way towards its center. At the base of this pond, you’ll discover the Sapphire Eye resting on a stone near a skeleton. To locate it precisely, dive down directly to where “Sand Sea Oasis” is marked on your map.

With all seven pieces of the Totems of Revelation in your possession, proceed to any party camp and locate the totem stone at its edge. Position the foundation of the Shrouded Totem’s Eyes on the upper left rock first, followed by each of the remaining six fragments.
