All Veiled Sea Water Points Locations in Sword of the Sea

In the game titled “Sword of the Sea“, players initially explore The Veiled Sea, a striking yet barren landscape devoid of its usual aquatic life. The goal is to discover all the Water Points scattered across this area. Engaging with these points will gradually reintroduce water to the region and revive the marine ecosystem. Completely activating all the water points will grant players the “Cleanse the Veiled Sea” achievement in “Sword of the Sea“.

In the vast expanse of the Veiled Sea within the game ‘Sword of the Sea’, a total of 10 Water Points are scattered. Some of these can be discovered during your exploration, while others are hidden away from the main path and might elude you if not specifically sought out. This could prevent you from earning the completion trophy. Here’s where you can locate all the hidden Water Points.

Water Point Location 1

After gaining command over your character, proceed through the initial part of the level until the game’s title appears on the screen. At this point, you will find yourself in a spacious area where the first Water Point is located centrally within it.

To get there, you should walk up the sandy hill from any side you prefer. Upon arrival at the Water Source, just interact with it to replenish water in the surrounding area.

Following your encounter with the merchant, you’ll find yourself in a sprawling expanse brimming with attractions. Initially, veer left from the entrance and circumnavigate around some substantial boulders to uncover a towering rock column adorned with lanterns nearby.

Light up all the lanterns to create numerous jellyfish near the pillar. Utilize these jellyfish to ascend to the top of the pillar, then interact with the second water source submerged within the Veiled Sea.

Once you complete the second Water Point, make your way down the pillar and follow the newly discovered watery path on your right side. Continue along the rock wall until you come across a sand waterfall that leads to an entrance of a cave. Enter the cave, and there you’ll find the opportunity to interact with the third Water Point.

Water Point Location 4

Step out of the cavern and coast downhill over a water-soaked incline before leaping from a platform. A cluster of lanterns to your left, strewn across the floor, will light up upon activation, causing the sand to recede and expose an entrance to a temple.

After entering, turn on another set of lanterns within to cause the sand to sink and uncover the fourth Water Source located on an elevated area. To access it, go through a cave to your left, then climb back up to the upper platform where you can interact with the Water Source.

Upon activating the fourth Water Point, a new route emerges to your right within the mural. Continue along this path, and when you come across a section where you can leap off the jellyfish, you’ll eventually reach an open area containing the fifth Water Point of the Veiled Sea.

Water Point Location 6

Retreat to the central open space and continue along the rocky trail amidst the towering columns. Following this path, you’ll encounter a couple of slopes. The final slope ahead will guide you to an elevated part of the map.

Upon arriving at that location, light up the lanterns to unveil a stairway leading to the castle’s upper floors. You can ascend by utilizing the platforms and floating jellyfish. Inside the castle, proceed along the corridors and illuminate the cluster of lanterns centrally positioned. This action will attract a swarm of jellyfish, enabling you to traverse higher levels within the castle and activate the sixth Water Source.

Here, you can also ride the Orca and unlock the ‘Orca Rider’ achievement/trophy.

Water Point Location 7

Once you’re done, ride the chains of the castle back to the lower portion of the map.

While zipping along the chains, keep your eyes peeled to the right – you’ll spot a cool, cave-like structure adorned with lanterns nestled inside. Hop off those chains, give those lanterns a light, and presto! The parched surroundings will spring back to life, revealing a massive skeleton of some long-gone beast hiding within.

Continue moving towards the chains emanating from the right side of the golden door as you face it. After reaching the end, you’ll find the eighth Water Point positioned beneath a green door you can activate.

Water Point Location 9

To rise above using seaweed (kelp) and move through an opening green door once you’ve activated the eighth water source, which will unlock a fresh part of the map for you. In the end, you’ll encounter the ninth Water Point to navigate past the barricaded path that lies ahead by interacting with it.

Water Point Location 10

Exiting the small cave-like space, you’ll encounter a blue switch on some tiled flooring. Activate this to reveal a big structure. Enter the building, and there you’ll find the last Water Point in Veiled Sea, enclosed by a gate.

Upon exiting the cozy little cave-like area, you will discover a blue button on some tiles. Activate it to uncover a large construction. Go inside the building, and you’ll find the last Water Point in Veiled Sea, secured behind a gate.

As a gamer, I’d say it like this: “Alright, to unlock the gate, I gotta grab two shiny golden lanterns first. The first one’s chilling on top of the building, directly above the blue half pipe if you’re looking from the ground. For the second one, you’ve got to leap into the upper part of the tower using a jump pad located on the right side, then activate the golden lantern once you’re there.

Upon lighting up both lanterns, the gate will rise, granting access for you to engage with the final Water Point within the Veiled Sea. Subsequently, make your way back through the Golden Gate and advance towards the next chapter in “Sword of the Sea”. This is where you’ll be awarded the “Cleansing the Veiled Sea” achievement.
