As a Silksong fan, I’m really intrigued by the Needolin Doors! They seem to be the key to getting into the Weavenest areas, which is awesome. But it looks like some of these doors might need more than just the Needolin ability to even *reach* them, so we’ll probably have to unlock even more abilities to fully explore everything!
Okay, so in *Hollow Knight: Silksong*, there are a bunch of doors, but you only *need* to open one to finish the main story. The rest hide useful tools or abilities if you’re a completionist like me and want to find everything. I’ve put together a guide with maps and locations to help you track them all down!
All Needolin Door Locations in Silksong
Weavenest Karn
- Location: Wormways
- Requirement: Needolin + or
The Needolin door is just to the left of Bone Bottom, but you’ll need to get to Wormways first. Wormways is located to the left of The Marrow, and the path to it is locked – you’ll need a Simple Key to open it.
Early in the game, the quickest way to get the key is to purchase it from Pebb for 500 Rosaries. You can easily collect Rosaries by farming near the bench by Marrow on the left. Once you have the key and are inside the Weavenest Karn, you’ll find only the Sharpdart Ability.
Weavenest Atla
- Location: Moss Grotto
- Requirement: Needolin
To get to this gate, return to the beginning area, Moss Grotto. As you fall, turn right immediately. Continue past the flying creatures, and you’ll find the entrance to Weavenest Atla. This is a distinct area with its own map. Once you activate the central mechanism and descend, turn left to discover a Spool Fragment and a boss fight against two Mossmothers.
To the right, you’ll find some walls you can break through, leading to Eva. She can improve your abilities and add more slots if you’ve collected enough Memory Lockets. The last upgrade she offers unlocks an ability that automatically restores your Silk when you rest on a bench.
Weavenest Cindril
- Location: Far Fields
- Requirement: Needolin
After getting the initial item, continue to the right. At the end of the path, you’ll find the Needolin door to Weavenest Cindril. Once you’ve rested on the bench, quickly run to the opposite side of the room to obtain the next item. You must dash across the room for it to appear.
After you get the Anklets, put them on along with your tool. Then, use the Brew to run faster and quickly pass over all the plates, activating them. This will open up a secret area underneath, where you’ll find the Rune Harp, which is a valuable Relic.
Weavenest Murglin
- Location: Bilewater
- Requirement: Needolin
Weavenest Murglin is found to the far right of Bilewater. If you came here through Sinner’s Path, simply go to the right to find the entrance. Having the area map will make it even easier to locate.
You’ll find a Ruined Tool on the table inside. This broken tool can be repaired into one of three versions at three different locations. Each repair requires one Craftmetal, but results in a unique item.
Weavenest Absolom
- Location: The Abyss
- Requirement: Needolin
As you progress through the story, you’ll eventually need to reach the far right side of the Abyss. Once through the door, you’ll find Farsight on the right – this item shows you how much of the game you’ve completed. Then, head to the bottom of the area to find a new ability.
