All Zeds & Their Weaknesses in Killing Floor 3

As a gamer, I’ve got to say, the variety of Zeds in Killing Floor 3 is nothing short of impressive. From the mindless crawlers that just keep coming, to the monsters that can wipe out my team in an instant, each one poses its own unique challenge. The early waves might throw basic enemies at us, but as we progress, it’s the powerful variants with their unique attack patterns and massive health pools that really test our mettle. Knowing the weak spots of each Zed is key to taking them down quickly and staying alive in Killing Floor 3. This guide aims to help us understand every type of Zed and how to defeat them effectively.

All Zeds & Their Weaknesses in Killing Floor 3

Type of Zed Weakness Weak Points How to Beat Them
Clot Biological Head Given their low health, almost any form of damage will effectively kill a Clot. A single headshot from most weapons is usually enough to beat them.
Mire Clot Electrical, Cold Head, Stomach Postule These are more of a threat than regular Clots. Target its stomach and land clean headshots to take them out quickly.
Crawler Larva Heat Head A precise headshot will quickly eliminate a Crawler Larva. Since they often swarm in groups, explosives are a smart way to clear them out efficiently.
Crawler Heat Head Much like their larval form, Crawlers have tiny heads that can be tricky to hit, but a direct shot will drop them instantly.
Cyst Biological Head Headshots are the quickest way to kill a Cyst.
Mire Cyst Electrical, Cold Head These behave like regular Cysts but are more dangerous. A quick headshot will stop them from getting too close.
Bloat Cut Head, InflatedRed Pustules Precise headshots can cleanly eliminate Bloats and prevent a toxic death explosion.
Gorefast Biological Head If a Gorefast is charging at you, move backwards while continuously firing at its head. A few accurate shots to the head will help you deal with it.
Husk Cold, Force Head, Cannon, Fuel Tank Shoot the fuel tank on the Husk’s back to cause an explosion that can damage other Zeds too. If a Husk gets too close, melee attacks are an effective option. You can also interrupt its dangerous ranged attacks by shooting the cannon muzzle.
Siren Heat, Biological Head, Neck Focus fire on the Siren’s head and neck to silence her and prevent her from screaming. Taking her down should be a top priority whenever she appears because of her disruptive scream.
Impaler Acidic, Electrical Head, Forearm Cores, Back Tube Cores, Back Core Your first priority should be to shoot and damage the glowing cores on the Impaler’s body. Destroying these cores prevents them from firing their dangerous missiles later in the fight.
Queen Crawler Biological, Heat Head, Inner Mouth, Back Abdomen Postules, Abdomen Scar Postule Focused fire on the Queen Crawler’s head and her mouth area will deal the most damage. Target her web traps and eggs to kill to avoid being overrun by her hatchlings.
Chimera Cold, Force Head, Glowing Arm, Chest, and Head Pustules To beat a Chimera boss in Killing Floor 3, focus your attacks on its weak points. You can also take advantage of Turrets during this boss fight.
Fleshpound Electrical, Force Head, Chest Core, Back Core Focus your fire on the Fleshpound’s armor first. Breaking them exposes their weak parts, which you can shoot to inflict heavy damage.
Scrake Cut, Biological, Ballistic Head, Chainsaw Engine, Face If you can’t land a headshot on the Scrake, focus your fire on its chainsaw. Destroying the chainsaw exposes critical weak points for you to attack. Then, turn your attention to its face. Breaking this will weaken the Scrake.
