All Zeni Hajiki Game Locations in Ghost of Yotei

In addition to the main story and collecting items, players in Ghost of Yotei can enjoy several minigames. The Bamboo Shoot minigame returns from previous Sucker Punch Productions games, and a new minigame called Zeni Hajiki has been added. This coin game can be found in Gambling Dens across the game’s regions.

It shouldn’t be too difficult to win the game, particularly if you’ve enabled the feature that shows how much power you have. This guide details where to find all the gambling spots and the charms you can win in *Ghost of Yotei*.

All Gambling Den Locations in Ghost of Yotei

Kutarra Gambling Den

  • Region: Yotei Grasslands

This hideout is south of the area, found directly under Lake Kuttara on the map. When you first arrive, you won’t be able to go inside because it’s guarded by Saito’s followers. An NPC will then start the ‘Sleight of Hand’ side quest. You *must* finish this quest to get access to the gambling den. If you play Zeni Hajiki and win against the owner twice, you’ll receive the Charm of Abundant Drink. This charm has the following effect:

Increases the amount of Sake you can carry by 1.

Ishikari Market

  • Region: Ishikari Plain

You’ll find this location east of Howling Cave, in the center of the region. Players need to advance through the Oni’s questline to get here, and it’s the main goal of that quest. Once you arrive, you’re free to explore, talk to everyone, and try your luck at the Gambling den – you don’t have to continue the main story. Just be aware that there’s no special charm to earn here.

Oni’s Breath Inn

  • Region: Ishikari Plain

When you arrive at the Oni’s Breath Inn, located northeast of Ishikari Fork, you’ll find it overrun with enemies. You’ll start a Side Tale that involves entering the Inn, solving riddles while drinking sake, and defeating the occupants. Once the Inn is cleared, you can play the Zeni Hajiki game. If you win against the NPC twice, you’ll receive the Charm of Stolen Flame. Here’s what the charm does:

Your weapon will automatically catch fire if you successfully parry a fire attack or block a Fire Arrow. Once ignited, the weapon can’t be blocked by enemies.

Huranui’s Rest Inn

  • Region: Tokachi Range

You’ll find this gambling den east of the Ohara Plains, and it’s always open – no requirements to enter! To reach the Tokachi Range, head northeast from the Yotei Grasslands. Don’t worry, nothing will stop you from getting there. Completing challenges here rewards you with the Charm of Resourceful Protection, which provides a special benefit.

Blocking an Arrow has a chance to add it to your inventory.

Red Crane Inn

  • Region: Teshio Ridge

To access the Red Crane Inn, players need to follow the Kitsune questline. This journey starts in the Tokachi Range and continues through the Nayaro Wilds and then to Teshio Ridge, where you’ll encounter cold damage. During the quest, you’ll visit the Red Crane Inn, located west of Sakura Woods. However, when you first arrive, the area is controlled by the Matsumae Clan, preventing you from gambling until you progress further in the Kitsune questline. Defeating the NPC at the Inn rewards you with the Charm of Fatal Silence. This charm has the following effect:

Arrows are silent on impact.

Bifuka Sake House

  • Region: Teshio Ridge

You’ll find the Bifuka Sake House northeast of the Red Crane Inn once you’ve reached the area. Here, players can obtain the Charm of Quick Retrieval, which has a special effect:

When you Disarm an enemy, immediately pick up their dropped weapon.

Benten Port

  • Region: Oshima Coast

You can reach Benten Port by following the Saito brothers’ questline. This questline will lead you to the Oshima Coast, where you’ll need to complete some main story quests first. Once those are done, you can explore Benten Port and find the gambling den upstairs. If you defeat a specific NPC there twice, you’ll receive the Charm of Fiery Rage, which has the following effect:

Increase the duration of Oni’s Flame by an amount.
