This resource can be acquired by defeating enemies or destroying nodes found on what are known as “tainted lands” or “darkened islands.” For better understanding, these are the ominous-looking landmasses that players can fly to once they’ve constructed their first Glider. If a player hasn’t come across one yet, they should just keep flying around and be on the lookout for an island that seems shrouded in darkness.

Upon reaching a contaminated island, players are tasked with finding a towering yellow structure that rises from the ground. This structure will bear several floating orbs suspended from it, and every orb destroyed grants Mykter Fibre. Initially, gamers who enjoy flight mechanics might want to shatter the orbs using the pickaxe they crafted during the tutorial. However, they may find it necessary to switch to a different tool once they acquire a more suitable one.

It’s worth mentioning that players will run into adversaries as they navigate through a contaminated island and dismantle its distinctive yellow structures.
