Over time, God of War has grown into one of the most impactful gaming franchises, and its success has paved the way for this adaptation to come to life on screen.

Currently, no definitive cast has been announced yet for the God of War series, but a major point of interest is who will portray Kratos. Finding an actor suitable for Kratos is no small feat, but with the release of Reacher’s third season, we might have found our ideal candidate in Dutch bodybuilder Olivier Richters, who played Paulie in Season 3. Olivier Richters, with his towering physique, seems tailor-made to step into the role of God of War’s demigod hero.

Nonetheless, it might be jumping the gun to assume this, as Paulie’s character faces a violent demise in the novels too, so his fate was predictable. Still, with Richters now available for other projects, it’s an exciting prospect, and we can hope that his departure from Reacher will lead to even greater opportunities for him in the future.

At the moment, we can’t predict what surprises the God of War series might hold when it becomes live-action.
