Amazon has announced more actors joining the cast of its upcoming live-action Tomb Raider series. This adds to the previously confirmed cast, which includes Sophie Turner as Lara Croft.
Originally released in 1996, Tomb Raider is a hugely popular video game series that has also been adapted into several movies and animated shows. Now, Amazon is creating its own TV series based on Lara Croft’s adventures, and we’re starting to learn more about the cast and what to expect.
Sigourney Weaver, Jason Isaacs, & More Cast For Amazon’s Tomb Raider Series
The Tomb Raider subreddit recently shared the exciting news that eleven new actors have joined the cast of the upcoming Amazon series. Along with the actors’ names, details about their characters were also released.
I’m so excited! They’ve brought back three actors to reprise their iconic roles from the Tomb Raider games. Here’s who’s returning:

Janina Gavankar, who plays Lara Croft, called her character a strong female role model. Phoebe Waller-Bridge, co-showrunner of the series, highlighted the cast’s mix of returning favorites and fresh faces. Although details about the show are still being kept secret, the impressive talent involved is building a lot of excitement.
