AMD Delays Ryzen 9000 Series CPUs Until August

As an avid PC gamer and tech enthusiast who has been eagerly waiting for the release of AMD’s next-gen Ryzen 9000 series CPUs, I was initially thrilled to hear that they were finally about to hit the market. But alas, just as I was preparing my wallet for the purchase, I received disappointing news. The launch has been delayed until August due to quality concerns.

AMD has revealed that the launch of its new Ryzen 9000 series CPUs, which was initially planned for release this month, has been pushed back to August. This announcement was made following rumors that evaluations by tech reviewers have not yet received their samples for assessment.

Upon discovering some issues with the initial batches of AMD’s products during our rigorous quality control process, we, the team at AMD, decided it was best to postpone the release until next month. We’re committed to delivering top-notch technology and believe that a slight delay will ensure you receive the exceptional experience you deserve.

To ensure the best possible experience for all Ryzen users and out of precaution, we’re collaborating with our retailers to exchange the first batch of products with brand new ones.

AMD has made some adjustments and revealed new release dates for certain processors. The Ryzen 7 9700X and Ryzen 5 9600X are now expected to be available starting August 8. As for the more advanced Ryzen 9 9950X and Ryzen 9 9900X CPUs, they will hit the market from August 15 onwards.

“We take great pride in delivering an excellent experience to all Ryzen users. We’re excited for you to enjoy the new Ryzen 9000 series.”
