An ARC Raiders Watchlist Exists For Unfriendly Players

Players of ARC Raiders have quickly discovered that the game becomes chaotic when other players, or Raiders, enter the scene. While ARC Raiders was initially intended to be a cooperative experience, it’s become clear that player-versus-player combat, or PvP, now dominates the gameplay.

It’s not just challenging battles that are causing problems for some players in ARC Raiders. Players are experiencing a lot of backstabbing, with some pretending to be friendly before unexpectedly attacking their teammates. To address this, players have started creating a community-made ‘watchlist’ to keep track of untrustworthy individuals.

ARC Raiders Players Are Tired of Being Betrayed

A new fan-made website called ‘Speranza Watchlist’ has appeared online. It lets players enter a user’s ID to see if that person has been reported for harmful behavior by the community. This allows players to quickly check someone’s reputation before interacting with them, potentially avoiding negative experiences with griefers.

A recent trend in ARC Raiders is increased player conflict. When the game first launched, players were generally cooperative, but now it’s common to be immediately attacked by others.

The blurb on the Speranza Watchlist website is especially telling:

If another player is being unfair – like breaking promises, blocking your way intentionally, or using sneaky tactics – you don’t have to just accept it. Report their username and explain what happened so the community can share stories, offer support, or warn others about their behavior.

If you suggest a player for the Speranza Watchlist, you’ll be asked to briefly explain your reasoning. Just keep in mind this is a fan-created list meant to be humorous, so don’t overthink it!

That’s made quite clear by the website’s ‘guide’ on how to perform a background check:

Okay, so if you absolutely have to ask someone for their Embark ID, I guess the safest way is to be super polite – like, “Excuse me, sir, would you mind sharing your Embark ID so I can just do a quick check?” Honestly, you’re kind of hoping they don’t react badly while you’re asking, because it could go very wrong!
