If you’re exploring the Sage’s Peak mountains in Crimson Desert, you’ll find a broken fan at the summit. To get it working, you need to discover a hidden room underneath. Fixing the fan involves a cogwheel puzzle that will transport Kliff to the Abyss. This guide explains how to activate the fan on Sage’s Peak and solve the Ancient Sealed Gate puzzle in Crimson Desert.

Ancient Sealed Gate Puzzle Solution In Crimson Desert

The Ancient Sealed Gate is located at the summit of Sage’s Peak. You’ll see a large fan pointing upwards, surrounded by wires. Be aware that an Abyss Nexus is very close to the gate.

To activate the fan, you need to find the hidden chamber underneath it.

I’ve been studying the peak, and if you really look closely at the eastern side, you can actually find the entrance to this secret chamber. It’s pretty well hidden, but it’s there!

As soon as you enter the hidden chamber, you’ll realize it contains an Abyss puzzle. But all you can actually do in there is press the button to activate the lift.

Okay, so the elevator takes you up to the next level, and that’s where you’ll find this machine. You need to hook up your Axiom Force to it – once you do, it’ll come to life! It’s pretty cool.

Once activated, you can control the central pole. The buttons to do so are located on the right side of the screen.

The idea is to move the pole and connect it to one of the three cogwheels around.

Once the pole is on one of the cogwheels, press the operate button to connect it.

Now, you can turn the cogwheel to the left and right using the assigned buttons.

For each of the three gears, simply keep rotating it in one direction until you hear a clicking or metallic sound. This indicates you’ve reached the correct spot – just give it a small turn to secure it.

After you securely fit all three cogwheels, the center one will illuminate, signaling that it’s ready to use.

Move the pole to the middle cogwheel and press the operate button to connect it.

From there, turn it in any direction to activate it, which will also activate the fan above.

To finish the puzzle at the Ancient Sealed Gate in Crimson Desert and begin the Twisted Thicketway quest, simply climb the mountain and stand in the center of the fan. Then, use your wings while on top of the fan to send Kliff to the Abyss on a floating island called Twisted Thicketway.
