The latest update (version 1.2.0) for Animal Crossing: New Horizons brought back some beloved characters from older Animal Crossing games. One of these is Redd, a sly fox who sells art – and isn’t always honest about its authenticity. He has a complicated past with Tom Nook, and players will find he hasn’t changed his ways.
In Animal Crossing: New Horizons, a shady art dealer named Redd sometimes visits your island, selling paintings and sculptures from his boat on the north beach. Be careful though – some of his artwork is fake! You can’t donate forgeries to the museum, so if you want a complete art collection, you’ll need to learn how to spot the real pieces from the fakes.
