On June 6th, enthusiasts of the Predator franchise are in for another exciting experience. The Predator series is growing and will offer dedicated fans entirely new content, marking a first for the franchise.

Two additional movies were crossover films with another famous franchise, titled “Alien vs. Predator” (2004) and “Alien vs. Predator: Requiem” (2007). The series has branched out into various mediums such as comics, novels, and video games. Recently, Disney announced plans that would undoubtedly excite anime enthusiasts.

It’s been mentioned that two new “Predator” films are set to be released this year. The first is titled “Predator Badlands,” featuring Elle Fanning in the lead role and directed by Dan Trachtenberg (known for “Prey”). The second film, initially kept under wraps, was unveiled on Tuesday. 20th Century Studios announced an original animated action-adventure movie called “Predator: Killer of Killers,” which is scheduled to debut on June 6, 2025. The collection’s narrative traces the exploits of three history’s most formidable fighters: a Viking warrior leading her son on a vengeful campaign marked by bloodshed, a ninja in feudal Japan who betrays his Samurai brother in a ruthless struggle for power, and an air force pilot during WWII who embarks on a mission to scrutinize otherworldly perils threatening the Allied forces. However, despite their lethal prowess, they find themselves hunted by a more dangerous adversary – the deadliest slayer of all killers.

In this production, Trachtenberg takes charge of the animated film, collaborating with animation company The Third Floor, specifically Josh Wassung. Micho Robert Rutare penned the script and worked closely with Trachtenberg on story development, inspired by character designs from the Predator screenwriters, Jim Thomas and John Thomas. These two have been deeply involved in the Predator franchise, having co-written both the 1987 and 1990 films. The team of John Davis, Marc Toberoff, Ben Rosenblatt, and Trachtenberg produce the film, while the Thomas siblings, Lawrence Gordon, and Stefan Grube serve as executive producers.

In the franchise’s initial animated venture, titled “Predator: Slayer of Slayers“, garnered positive responses from fans. The storyline revolves around Predators preying upon warriors and soldiers, a concept that has intrigued fans following the popularity of “Prey“.
