Anno 117 Pax Romana: All Deity Buffs (Religion Guide)

In Anno 117: Pax Romana, as your cities expand and citizens advance, you’ll need to build Sanctuaries where they can worship the gods and earn Belief. Increasing Belief through worship is a powerful way to boost your economy, improve your city’s performance, and lower expenses.

In Anno 117: Pax Romana, each island allows players to support only one patron deity. The more faith the population has in a deity, the stronger that deity’s overall impact will be. To get the most out of your deities, players should choose ones that complement each island’s strengths and how it produces goods.

How Religion Works in Anno 117: Pax Romana

In Anno 117: Pax Romana, you choose a god for the people on your island to worship. As their faith grows, they’ll become more devoted and unlock special bonuses tied to that god’s powers. You can switch which god your island follows at any time, but doing so will reset everyone’s devotion.

As players expand to new islands, they’ll be able to worship different gods and benefit from their unique powers. The more devotion players give to a god, the stronger the benefits become across their entire empire – essentially, dedicating a portion of their population to a specific god grants empire-wide bonuses.

Deities that are still locked won’t appear on the Global Effects page. To see them all, players need to unlock every religious cult within the game Anno 117.
