Anomaly Tracker Self-Proclaimed Guide In NTE (Moving Shadow When Tram Passed By The Coast)

Anomaly Tracker, who calls herself ‘Neverness to Everness’, is a character you can find who offers a small quest. She might appear as one of the mysterious figures from the Witch’s House. To finish her quest, you need to use Skia’s shadow ability while riding a moving train. After that, talk to her again, and you’ll notice her dialogue has changed.

Anomaly Tracker Self-Proclaimed Quest Guide In NTE

To locate the Anomaly Tracker NPC in NTE, go to the Headless Rider boss area. Then, glide southwest a short distance to the wooden building that overlooks the ocean tram tracks.

Talk to the Anomaly Tracker, and she’ll tell you: “When the tram went past the shore, a shadow was moving…” This is a clue to help you.

Go to the train station located to the southeast and wait for the tram. While you’re waiting, add Skia to the team.

Okay, so when the tram pulls up, hop on and get ready to go. Before the train actually starts moving, it’s a perfect time to practice Skia’s shadow form – you can do it right there on the train without worrying about falling off!

You can switch to shadow mode by using Skia’s special Skill or by holding the Dash button while moving forward. I think using the Skill is simpler – it just requires one button press. However, the Skill takes a while to recharge, so avoid using it too often.

As the train starts moving, look out for the bridge. The Anomaly Tracker, who calls herself that, will be standing on the wooden structure to your right, and she’ll be expecting a performance from you.

When you’re close to the bridge, enter Skia’s shadow form, then get off the train and go to her.

Okay, so I talked to the Anomaly Tracker over in NTE, and she mentioned seeing that black shadow again. Then, I advanced the time to the next day and just quickly teleported away and came right back. When I checked, the little speech bubble above her head was gone – that meant the mission was finished! Easy peasy.

You’ve finished this small side activity! It’s just for fun and doesn’t offer any rewards or achievements. This completion will also remove this specific quest from appearing again, allowing you to focus on more valuable and rewarding tasks in the future.

If you enjoyed this guide and need help with other parts of NTE, I suggest checking out my guides for the Lonely Player Anomaly Commission and the Nameless Hospital endings. I worked really hard on those, and I hope they’re useful! They were challenging to write because the game provides very few clear instructions and relies heavily on hidden clues.
