When Kril finds himself alarmingly bare and fearful, there’s a hidden ability he can tap into which materializes a gleaming conch shell for his armor.

Prioritizing having superior shells within another crab’s hoard is crucial, but it shouldn’t lead to squandering a full evolutionary advantage and valuable Umami resources for the sake of summoning a single crab.

To put it simply, shells are far too abundant in Another Crab’s Treasure for the necessity of a special ability to generate Krils to be justified.

Although the nearby shells may not be ideal options, there is still an abundance of them that can offer Kril some protection when needed. Additionally, all other adaptations mentioned will likely prove beneficial as you advance in the game.

7. Royal Wave

Instead of reassuring Kril that no one can approach him, you could attempt to disprove him by hurling Kril repeatedly towards his thorny exterior. After sustaining enough harm (and potentially meeting an untimely end), Erich may grant Urchin Toss to Kril as a desperate attempt for tranquility.

The “Urchin Toss” functions like a clinging explosive device that inflicts substantial harm. Before enhancing it using Topoda, though, its accuracy is poor and it can be difficult to handle. This drawback is alleviated with the Level 2 upgrade, which attracts enemies towards the grenade, but the adaptation is somewhat limited until then.

In simpler terms, compared to the top-tier weapon (handgun from 2024) that players can select from the settings menu, Bubble Bullet doesn’t offer the same level of effectiveness. However, for those who prefer challenging gameplay, Bubble Bullet serves as the most viable long-range choice when playing with the highest difficulty options activated.

What makes this interesting is that the Bobbit Trap has the ability to ensnare bosses, which means it’s incredibly valuable for defeating the most challenging opponents within the game.
