Apex Legends Void Reckoning Event Coming July 23 With Big TDM Mode

As a long-time fan of Apex Legends, I have seen my fair share of exciting updates and disappointments. The Void Reckoning event trailer brought a glimmer of hope to me when I saw the new Big TDM limited-time mode. It’s been a while since we had a fresh take on Team Deathmatch, and this 12v12 version sounds thrilling.

Today, Respawn unveiled a fresh trailer showcasing their upcoming event, Void Reckoning. This exciting development brings an array of new cosmetics to the table, along with an all-new Big Team Deathmatch mode, available only for a restricted period.

In their official blog post, Big TDM announced the introduction of a new Team Deathmatch mode version, which is a 12vs12 setup operating at 12 volts. The post provides additional information regarding the mode’s features and balancing adjustments.

The competition will include five distinct maps for you to play on. Additionally, your health will regain more quickly and the maximum score has been raised to 60.

In Void Reckoning, there are 22 temporary cosmetic rewards available. You’ll unlock bonus prizes once you’ve accumulated 5, then 12, and finally 17 of these limited-edition items.

In the Void Reckoning event, there won’t be any identical event items in different packs, and each pack contains a single unique event item. Players can obtain these packs as a means to acquire all available event items, including the “Crestfallen Stars” reactive havoc.

Recently, Apex Legends encountered significant criticism from fans following the revamp of its Battle Pass system. Now, instead of one unified pass each season, it’s been divided into two separate parts.

Significantly, this update took away the chance to buy the items using Apex Coins, the virtual currency within the game. Instead, players need to use real money to obtain both Battle Passes during each season to gain access to all the content.

As a long-term player of this game, I’ve seen my fair share of excitement and disappointment. This week, however, has left me feeling disheartened. The community I once felt deeply connected to seems to have taken a turn for the worse. Players have been swiftly and relentlessly leaving negative reviews, collectively causing a significant dip in morale and engagement.
