In the ARC Raiders quest “A First Foothold,” your first goal is to stabilize the Observation Deck. You’ll find it near the Ridgeline on the Blue Gate map, which is located east of the Abandoned Housing Project.
When you reach the location on the map, you’ll see a broken observation deck with metal pieces falling off. Use the highlighted spot to begin fixing it. Once the repairs are finished, you can continue to the next goal.
Enable the Comms Terminal Location in ARC Raiders (A First Foothold)
The next step in the ARC Raider quest, A First Foothold, is to activate the communications terminal close to the Olive Grove. You can find it by heading southwest from the Ridgeline, following the marker on the map.
When you get there, look for a yellow terminal on a small, built platform. Activate the terminal to begin fixing the communications system, and you’ll finish the second part of the quest.
Rotate the Satellite Dishes Location in ARC Raiders (A First Foothold)
In the A First Foothold quest for ARC Raiders, your third goal is to adjust the satellite dishes located on the church roof, which is north of the data vault. You’ll find this church in the far northern section of The Blue Gate map, just above the Data Vault area.
Okay, so when I got to the location, I immediately saw this old, abandoned church – it had construction stuff all over the place. To finish what I needed to do, I had to use the platforms on the side to climb up onto the roof and then mess around with the satellite dish up there to get it calibrated. That’s all there was to it!
Nail Down the Roof Plates on the Raider Structure Location in ARC Raiders (A First Foothold)
Okay, so the last part of the ‘A First Foothold’ quest in ARC Raiders sends you right near the Raiders’ base! Basically, you have to go and secure the roof plates on one of their buildings close to Trapper’s Glade. It’s the final step, so you’re getting close to finishing it up!
When you reach the location, look for a damaged building with a red and green flag. Climb onto the building and fix the roof. Completing this will finish the “A First Foothold” quest, and you’ll be able to leave the area to collect your rewards from Apollo.
