Okay, so Embark Studios is doing a new event in ARC Raiders called Shared Watch, starting February 10th. It’s all about teaming up to fight the bots, which is cool. Since the game came out in 2025, they’ve been changing things up with the maps and events to keep it interesting. But this is the first time they’re really pushing us to play with other players we don’t already know, which should be a fun challenge!
ARC Raiders is a game where you can choose how you play – you can fight other players and the environment, or cooperate with them. You can even decide how you treat the people of Speranza, choosing to be friendly or hostile. An upcoming event called Shared Watch appears to be pushing players towards working together and forming alliances.
ARC Raiders Announces the Shared Watch Event
- Start Date: February 10
- End Date: February 24
- Focus: PvE
The first in-game event for ARC Raiders, called Shared Watch, will take place from February 10th to February 24th. The event seems to focus on cooperative gameplay where players work together to fight machines. According to Embark Studios, players will team up with others, support each other, and earn rewards for defeating the enemy machines.
A recent video shows two players working together in ARC Raiders to defeat enemies, help each other get back in the fight, and even play music with the game’s instruments. This has led fans to believe that a feature called Shared Watch might let players team up with random people, even when playing alone. Some also think the video could be hinting at a new photo mode, since it looks more like a piece of art than previous teasers. However, the event is described as focusing on cooperative gameplay to defeat enemies, so a photo mode seems less likely.
Many ARC Raiders Players are Unhappy About the Shared Watch Event
Image via Embark Studios Players are voicing strong criticism of ARC Raiders on social media, primarily regarding the absence of a separate, dedicated mode for playing against the environment (PvE). Some believe the new Shared Watch feature is a workaround to reduce player-versus-player (PvP) conflict. Additionally, many fans have recently reported issues with the game’s matchmaking, finding themselves frequently grouped with aggressive players instead of cooperative teammates.
Some players worry that the Shared Watch feature could be exploited by those focused on player-versus-player (PvP) combat, allowing them to use teamwork requests as a trick to attack others. This concern is common within the community, and many are again asking the developers at Embark Studios to create separate game modes for players who don’t want to participate in PvP, rather than only offering temporary events like Shared Watch.
February 10 Also Marks the Return of a Popular Mode
Image via Embark Studios Embark Studios announced that the popular Cold Snap map condition will be back in ARC Raiders on February 10th. To coincide with this, the Shared Watch event will also be starting that day, giving players two new things to experience.
After the Shared Watch event, ARC Raiders‘ next major event will be the second Expedition project.
