ARC Raiders: Back On Top Quest Guide (All Mark Locations)

In ARC Raiders, the “Back on Top” quest involves helping Tian Wen and Shani find potential raider outpost locations. You’ll need to travel to four areas – the Dam Battlegrounds, Buried City, Spaceport, and The Blue Gate – and identify specific landmarks based on clues in the quest objectives. This guide will walk you through finding all the landmarks, allowing you to quickly complete the quest.

Honestly, you can tackle these goals in whatever order you want, which is awesome. Also, I’d definitely suggest starting with a basic loadout when you go to these spots. That way, if things get hairy, you won’t risk losing all your favorite gear!

Mark the Pattern House on Dam Battlegrounds in ARC Raiders (Back on Top)

The first thing you need to do in ARC Raiders is find and highlight the Pattern House building on the Dam Battlegrounds map. It’s located in the far north of the map, a bit to the northwest of the Power Generation area. Depending on where you start the game, you might have a long way to go to get there.

When you reach the location, look for a big grey building covered in strange yellow symbols. Go up to the building and you’ll be able to paint raider symbols on the outside walls. You can mark any spot on the building – the front, the back, anywhere there’s space.

Mark the White Lookout Tower South of the Warehouse Complex on Blue Gate in ARC Raiders (Back on Top)

For the second step of the Back on Top quest in ARC Raiders, you’ll head to The Blue Gate map. You need to find a white lookout tower south of the Warehouse Complex and mark it on your map. The Warehouse Complex is located northeast of the Checkpoint and is usually guarded by raiders who are scavenging for supplies.

As a fan of this game, I’ve learned it’s best to be really careful around here. If one of those random events is happening, this is where the Matriarch shows up, and she’s tough! So, I always approach this area slowly and prepared.

Continue south from the Warehouse Complex, and you’ll begin to descend slightly. Look for a white lookout tower at the location shown in the image; it has several spots where you can spray paint. When you’re finished, leave the area and move on to the next goal.

Mark the South Trench Tower on Spaceport in ARC Raiders (Back on Top)

To continue the ‘Back on Top’ quest in ARC Raiders, you’ll need to go to the South Trench Tower on the Spaceport map. You can find it in the northern part of Spaceport, positioned between the West and East hangars. This area is generally pretty safe, as only raiders with tower keys will be around. Keep in mind that how far you need to travel will depend on where you start your match.

Once you reach the area, just mark the wall beside the stairs in the South Trench Tower. This finishes the third goal, allowing you to leave the Spaceport map and move on to the last map.

Mark the Building with Mural Near Buried Properties on Buried City in ARC Raiders (Back on Top)

The last step in the Back on Top questline in ARC Raiders sends players to the Buried City map. You’ll need to find a building with a mural located in the Buried Properties area. This area is on the eastern side of the map and is generally a safe zone, free from player-versus-player combat unless another player happens to spawn there with you.

When you reach the location shown on the map, you’ll find a wall with an old, rusted billboard on top. Simply go up to the wall and select the option to mark it – this finishes the last step of the quest. By completing ‘Back on Top’ in ARC Raiders, you’ll receive a Renegade I weapon, a Stable Stock III, and 80 Medium Ammo as rewards.
