Embark Studios has pushed back the launch of the next phase of their ARC Raiders project, called the Expedition. While it will introduce new items, the Expedition will essentially reset your current progress.
ARC Raiders, a highly anticipated game expected to be a big hit in 2025, has quickly gained a dedicated following among players and online streamers. Developed by Embark Studios, the team behind The Finals, it’s already been a top search on Google and consistently broken player count records on Steam, with gameplay ranging from peaceful cooperation to intense combat. The developers recently hinted at details for the next in-game event, called an Expedition, and have now announced it will launch two days later than originally planned.

Embark Studios announced a change to the dates for the next ARC Raiders Expedition. It will now run from December 17th to the 22nd, instead of the previously scheduled December 15th to the 20th. Players who signed up will now leave The Rust Belt on December 22nd.
The blog post discusses the upcoming Expedition, which will reset most of your progress – things like blueprints, skills, level, storage, workshop items, and crafting skills. Luckily, permanent upgrades you’ve purchased, such as extra inventory space, XP boosts, and skill points, will remain. Deciding whether to participate is a significant choice, but considering how the game, ARC Raiders, has improved since launch, it appears to be a worthwhile gamble.
