There’s been a ton of cheating going on, and one popular streamer even said it’s worse than anything they’ve seen in Call of Duty at its worst! Thankfully, the developers have finally admitted there’s a problem and shared what they’re planning to do about it, which is a huge relief.
ARC Raiders Devs Will Update Their Anti-Cheat Systems and Improve Detection in the Coming Weeks
The developers of ARC Raiders have responded to concerns about cheating in the game. As reported by GamesRadar+, Embark Studios posted on their Discord server that they’re aware of the issue, are taking player feedback seriously, and are actively working to address it.
Over the next few weeks, the development team will be making major changes to how ARC Raiders is played and will also be adding better ways to find and ban cheaters. This includes improvements to the anti-cheat system to help it detect and enforce bans more effectively.
As a big ARC Raiders fan, I’m really glad the developers are tackling that frustrating glitch where you can fall off the map – it’s been a real problem! They’re also adding some cool features for streamers, which is awesome, including tools to help prevent stream sniping. It’s great to see them supporting content creators too!
The CEO of Embark Studios recently clarified that ARC Raiders will focus on fighting AI enemies, not other players.
