In ARC Raiders, you’ll come across locked doors that typically need a specific key to open. These keys aren’t found in set locations; they appear randomly when you search valuable areas or homes. If you’d rather skip the key hunt and open locked doors immediately, there’s a glitch you can use. Here’s how it works.

The glitch is still working as of update 1.3.0 for ARC Raiders, which came out on November 20, 2025, after testing.

How to Use the Door Glitch in ARC Raiders

To open locked doors in ARC Raiders using the door glitch, you need help from at least one other player. You can team up with a friend or ask someone nearby using the in-game chat. Once you have a teammate, you can try the glitch, which lets you walk through the door and into the locked area without a key.

The Technique

One way to get through is to have your teammate push you. Stand near the door, ideally closer to the key terminal, and then start running towards the space between the door and the terminal. You might not move immediately, but your character will begin running as they pass through the doorway.

It’s important to keep your weapon holstered during this process for optimal results.

As you do this, your teammates need to repeatedly jump on your back. This will begin to push your character into the door, starting the process of passing through it. They’ll need to keep jumping until you successfully move through the door to the other side. Then, simply have a teammate enter by using the door’s terminal from inside.

When you’re first learning, it’s best to use basic, free equipment until you get the hang of things.

With this glitch, you can bypass any locked door in ARC Raiders. Some doors might be trickier than others, so experiment with different angles to find the spot where your character can pass through them.
