ARC Raiders Devs Confirm Player Behaviour is Analysed for Matchmaking
In a recent PC Gamer interview, Robert Sammelin, art director for ARC Raiders, revealed that the game’s matchmaking system considers how players behave. He explained it’s a complex process, stating they analyze player behavior to create matches, but jokingly declined to share specific details about how this works.
Many ARC Raiders players believed the game matched friendly players with other friendly players, and aggressive players with other aggressive players. The developers have now confirmed this is likely true, though they haven’t revealed all the factors that influence how players are grouped together.
The excitement for ARC Raiders recently caused NVIDIA’s website to crash due to a surge in traffic from players checking out a backpack featured in the game. The developers are also actively seeking feedback from the community to improve the game, particularly regarding the maps.
