ARC Raiders Headwinds Update Significantly Impacts Looting Speed

Players of ARC Raiders have reported that the recent Headwinds update has caused slower looting and problems with server stability.

Yesterday, Embark Studios released the Headwinds update for ARC Raiders, adding new features like solo and squad play, a location called Bird City, and the ability to join open parties, along with fresh content. Unfortunately, the update also brought some bugs and glitches that players have been reporting.

ARC Raiders Headwinds Update Impacts Looting and Server Stability

A recent update to the game ARC Raiders, called Headwinds, has slowed down how quickly players can collect items. GamesRadar+ reports that a skill meant to make looting faster is now 30% less effective.

Players have reported this problem on the game’s Discord server, and the developers are now looking into it. Ossen, a community admin, said Embark is “actively investigating,” and Boirdie, a community manager, confirmed the issue is unintentional and the team is aware.

The recent Headwinds update seems to be making the game servers unstable. Players are experiencing glitches and getting stuck after loading in. Embark Studios is aware of the problem and is currently investigating, according to a report from CharlieIntel on X (formerly Twitter).

Embark Studios is rolling out a new anti-cheat system for ARC Raiders, but players are concerned it won’t be effective enough. Also, a guide to the new Epic Augments added in the latest update is now available. If you’re noticing slower looting or other issues since the Headwinds update, share your experience in the comments and connect with other players on the official TopMob Discord server.
