Scavenging for supplies in the ruined industrial areas of ARC Raiders can be challenging. Because the items you find are random, it takes time to gather what you need. To finish the Expedition Project, you’ll specifically need at least five Cooling Fans.

This guide will help you find Cooling Fans and other electronic parts in ARC Raiders. We’ll show you the best areas to search for this valuable resource.

Cooling Fan Location in ARC Raiders

Cooling Fans, like other items in the game, are found inside containers. You’ll most often find them in areas dedicated to Technology and Electronics. For example:

The Power Generation Complex is a location on the Dam Battlegrounds map, categorized as an Industrial and Electronics Area. Players can find and open containers and machinery within the complex – particularly in the operations room – to obtain Electronics components. There’s a chance these containers will include a Cooling Fan.

Players can explore other locations too, such as the Control Tower southeast of the Power Generation area, and the Research and Administration building nearby.

You can also find valuable items on other maps like Blue Gates and the Spaceport. Just keep an eye out for areas marked with Electronics and Technological markings. Here’s a breakdown of where to find Cooling Fans on those maps:

  • The Blue Gate – Ancient Fort, Pilgrim’s Peak, Reinforced Reception
  • Buried City – Space Travel, Research Station
  • Spaceport – Control Tower, Launch Towers, Arrival Building, Departure Building, South Trench Tower, North Trench Tower

As many players have figured out, the Spaceport is the best place to collect Cooling Fans. However, because the collection points are somewhat isolated, getting the items back to Speranza can be a little difficult.
