The Weapon Workbench will be a key tool for players in ARC Raiders. It’s where you’ll craft and upgrade weapons, improving their performance and unlocking more powerful gear to help you succeed.

To make your weapons stronger in ARC Raiders, you’ll need to gather materials and upgrade the Gunsmith. This guide will show you how to improve your weapons and unlock blueprints for better accessories, weapons, and combat equipment.

How To Unlock Weapon Workbench in ARC Raiders

In ARC Raiders, you can unlock the Weapon Workbench—also called the Gunsmith—after finishing the initial Introductory Quests. Then, go to your Workshop, select ‘Install’ (it’s in one of the tabs next to Scrappy), and gather the necessary materials to build it.

  • Metal Parts x20
  • Rubber Parts x20

You can get Metal Parts by scavenging or recycling metal items and ARC Tech. Rubber Parts are usually found by taking apart Chemical Containers and broken equipment like damaged parachutes and vests.

How To Upgrade Weapons in ARC Raiders

After installing the Gunsmith mod, you can access it through its dedicated tab or by clicking on the crafting table while in the Workshop. You’ll see it’s initially marked as ‘Level 1,’ indicating you can improve it later. Within the Gunsmith, you’ll find crafting recipes, as well as two additional sections: Weapon Upgrade and Level Up.

To upgrade your weapons, click the “Weapon Upgrade” button and choose a gun from your Inventory. Any weapons you’ve stored in the Stash will also appear in the upgrade menu automatically.

Once you’ve chosen a weapon, click the ‘Upgrade’ button on the right side of the screen. This will increase its level – from Level 0 to 1, then to 2, and so on. Each upgrade requires specific materials, which are listed below the button.

As a player, I’m really excited about this because it’ll make my weapons much better! Things like how fast I can reload, how much ammo I can carry, how much damage I do, and even how long my weapons last will all get a boost. Plus, it’s a fantastic way to get some seriously powerful gear early in the game without having to grind for tons of resources.

Upgrading your best weapons (Green, Blue, Purple, and Yellow tiers) needs materials that are just as good. Because of this, players should only invest in these materials and upgrade their weapons once they’re confident and skilled at surviving in ARC Raiders.
