In ARC Raiders, finding loot is really important – you need it to build gear, tools, workstations, and even earn currency. But you can only carry so much! Both your character’s backpack and your storage space in the Speranza base have limits. Here’s how to increase how much you can carry and store.
How to Increase Max Stash Space in ARC Raiders
When you begin playing ARC Raiders, you’ll start with 64 spaces in your stash to hold items. This is plenty of room for the materials and items you find at the beginning. But as you complete more raids and collect more loot, your storage will start to fill up.
Okay, so in ARC Raiders, you’re gonna run out of storage space – it just happens. You can sell or break down gear, but that only gets you so far. I’ve been figuring out how to actually increase my stash size, and here’s what I’ve found.
- Go to the inventory screen from the main menu.
- Click on the “Expand” button at the top of your item slots, between Loadout and Stash labels.
- You’ll need to spend coins to get additional slots and upgrade the maximum capacity of your stash.
Expanding your stash for the first time costs 5,000 coins and adds 24 more slots, increasing your total stash space to 88.
Each time you upgrade, the cost will go up by 5,000 coins. So, the second upgrade will cost 10,000 coins, the third will cost 15,000, and so on. When ARC Raiders officially launches, players will be able to store items in a stash with a maximum capacity of 200 slots.

How to Increase Backpack Space in ARC Raiders
If you tend to collect a lot of items during raids in ARC Raiders and often fill up your backpack quickly, you’ll want to use the Looting Augment. This upgrade increases how much you can carry, letting you bring back more loot from each match.
Here’s how many additional inventory slots some Looting Augments grant.
