Embark Studios, the developer of ARC Raiders, has listened to player feedback about the recent Bird City map event. They’ve increased how often Bird City appears in the game so more players can experience it. Players who missed it before will now have a better chance to play the event on the Buried City map.
Last month, Embark launched the Headwinds update for ARC Raiders, outlining their plans for 2026. This free update added a lot of new content, including a special event called Bird City. Like other in-game events, Bird City appears regularly and changes the usual map. During this event, flocks of birds gather near the chimneys in Buried City, and players can search their nests for rewards. Players can also find more Trinkets and utilize additional Ziplines scattered throughout the map.
ARC Raiders Increases Bird City Event Times
The initial launch of the Bird City event in ARC Raiders didn’t work well for many players. Because of the event’s timing, people with traditional work schedules found it impossible to participate, leading some to call it the “unemployed event.” However, the developers at Embark listened to the feedback and have now made Bird City happen much more often. After a temporary issue with the event’s schedule last night, an Embark community manager announced an update on Discord: the current week’s schedule is live, and Bird City will occur more frequently. You can find the updated schedule, shared by ARC Raiders Event Timers, below.
| Instance | GMT | EST | PST |
| 1 | 10 AM – 11 AM | 5 AM – 6 AM | 2 AM – 3 AM |
| 2 | 2 PM – 3 PM | 9 AM – 10 AM | 6 AM – 7 AM |
| 3 | 4 PM – 5 PM | 11 AM – 12 PM | 8 AM – 9 AM |
| 4 | 6 PM – 7 PM | 1 PM – 2 PM | 10 AM – 11 AM |
| 5 | 10 PM – 11 PM | 5 PM – 6 PM | 2 PM – 3 PM |
Bird City is currently available more often, but it’s unknown if this expanded schedule will stay in place or be scaled back. The development team has stated they’re working to create a schedule that works for everyone, no matter where they are in the world, and will continue to make adjustments to achieve that.
Embark announced that there won’t be any new updates or changes to the in-game store for ARC Raiders this week. However, a patch is planned for next Tuesday, February 10th. While the exact contents of the update are unknown, many players are hoping it will address the ongoing issue of item duplication. Despite a previous attempt to fix the problem last month, players have continued to find ways to exploit the game and create multiple copies of items, including valuable blueprints and the popular Familiar Duck. This is upsetting many players, who feel it’s disrupting the game’s balance, and they are urging Embark to release a swift and effective solution.
The Headwinds update just came out last week, so don’t expect any new content in the patch coming next week. However, Embark has announced that the Shrouded Sky update is planned for release this month. This update will include several exciting additions, like a new map condition – potentially the long-awaited Toxic Swamp – a new enemy type, a new player project, a new raider deck, improvements to existing maps, and the second chance to participate in an Expedition.
