ARC Raiders is Still Dominating on Steam and It’s Showing Absolutely No Signs of Slowing Down

It’s been a month since Embark Studios released ARC Raiders, and the game remains incredibly popular on Steam. SteamDB data shows that ARC Raiders continues to be a top seller, one of the most wishlisted games, and a frequently played title a month after its release.

I remember when ARC Raiders came out on October 30, 2025 – everyone was excited, but honestly, nobody predicted it would become that huge. It blew up almost immediately! Within a week, it had more players online than Battlefield 6, and even when Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 came out shortly after, it didn’t even slow down. It’s been amazing to watch, especially since games like this – the ‘extraction shooter’ type – haven’t always been super popular with the mainstream crowd, though that’s definitely changing now.

SteamDB data shows that Sundays are the most popular days to play ARC Raiders, with peak player counts consistently happening between 8 PM and 9 PM UTC. Shortly after its release on November 2nd, the game reached 354,836 players on Steam. The following Sunday saw a jump of almost 30%, hitting 460,858 players. November 16th, 2025 became the game’s most popular day ever, with a peak of 481,966 players. While the next Sunday’s peak was slightly lower at 449,369, it only dropped by less than 7% and was still nearly 27% higher than the initial peak.

Even a month before its official release, ARC Raiders remains a strong seller on Steam, currently ranking at #3. If you don’t count the Steam Deck, it’s actually #2, just behind Counter-Strike 2. The game is also proving more popular than Battlefield 6, with an average of 367,000 daily players compared to Battlefield 6‘s 220,000. Given the game’s current appeal and planned future updates, these numbers could climb even higher.

A month after its release, Embark’s shooter, ARC Raiders, continues to attract players thanks to its consistently enjoyable gameplay. The game’s realistic physics, immersive world, memorable sound design, ability to play solo, and overall approachability—which is rare in this type of game—have all helped keep players engaged.
