Arc Raiders Mushroom Locations: 3 Spots to Find Them in Dam Battlegrounds

As you progress by collecting resources, gaining experience, and finding new items through exploration, you’ll unlock the ability to improve Scrappy the Rooster’s abilities from the game’s main menu. To continue upgrading, you’ll need to find mushrooms, and this guide for Arc Raiders will point you to two reliable locations where they can be found.

This guide will show you where to find Mushrooms in Arc Raiders, specifically on the first map available to all players: the Dam Battlegrounds.

Mushroom Locations in Arc Raiders

Dam Battlegrounds

Mushrooms appear randomly in the game, but you’ll consistently find them in certain spots.

We discovered mushrooms for the first time in Dam Battleground at the Hydroponic Dome Complex, which is north of Water Treatment Control. This location offers valuable loot, including items from the Nature, Industrial, and Security categories. If you head to the southwest corner of the complex, you’ll find a large building with several rectangular pools filled with muddy water.

You can often find mushrooms growing near the edges of the map here. Keep in mind this area is also where Great Mullein grows, so the mushrooms aren’t always present. However, if you begin your game on this side of the map, it’s a good first place to search.

You might encounter Fireball enemies within this facility. Destroying them lets you collect Fireball Burners. There are challenges – called Feats – that require you to defeat these enemies, and another that asks you to throw Fireball Burners at a Fireball to destroy it.

You can find more mushrooms near the broken robot in the Wreckage area – it’s southwest of the Testing Annex and east of the Scrap Yard. We discovered one specifically on a log behind some debris.

If you’re looking for even more mushrooms in Arc Raiders, check around the South Swamp Outpost and Old Battleground areas, which are located on the west side of the Dam Battlegrounds.

Players have discovered mushrooms growing on trees and logs in the area. Checking these locations during your gameplay should guarantee you find at least one. If you don’t, you’ll be relying on luck!
