Embark Studios announced that the ‘North Line’ update for ARC Raiders will be available on November 13th. This is the first major content update for the game.
The new North Line update will launch two weeks after the release of ARC Raiders. Embark, the game’s developer, has stated they want to move away from traditional seasonal updates, opting for a more adaptable release schedule. Despite this change, several significant updates are still planned for release before the end of 2025.
ARC Raiders Players Will Need to Unlock North Line’s New Map
Embark has announced that the first big update for ARC Raiders, called North Line, will be available on November 13th at 1:30 AM Pacific Time / 4:30 AM Eastern Time / 10:30 AM Central European Time. This update introduces Stella Montis, a new map located north of the Rust Belt, offering players new quests and deeper insights into the game’s story. Before the map is fully accessible, a global event called Breaking New Ground will challenge players to work together and gather resources to reopen tunnels leading to Stella Montis. This event will have several stages, each with its own rewards and challenges, designed to make the map launch a special experience for the ARC Raiders community.
The North Line update will add two new challenging enemies to ARC Raiders: the Matriarch, which appears in certain locations, and the Shredder, which becomes available once the Stella Montis area is unlocked. Players will also get new weapons and items, including the Energy Burst Battle Rifle and several types of mines. Once the North Line map is released, new missions will become available, though Embark hasn’t revealed specific details yet, only stating that the quests will focus on the game’s new icy setting.
The North Line update will kick off our plans for ARC Raiders in 2025. Following that, we’ll release Cold Snap, which will add a new snowy weather effect to maps, a special event called Flickering Flames, and restart the Expedition cycle, along with other improvements. We’re aiming to launch Cold Snap in December.
