In ARC Raiders, players begin their journey by accepting quests from characters called Traders, starting with Shani. Early on, Shani will ask you to go to the Topside and fix the antenna at Field Depot, which was damaged by a storm. This requires exploring the game world to locate Field Depot and complete the “Off the Radar” quest.
This guide is written using information from the ARC Raiders Server Slam test. We’ll update it when the full game comes out.
Where to Find the Field Depot Location in ARC Raiders (Off the Radar Quest)
After finishing the “Trash Into Treasure” quest for Shani in *ARC Raiders*, you’ll unlock “Off the Radar.” Shani will give you this new quest right away, asking you to find a Field Depot and fix its antenna to get communications working again. To start, accept the quest, then begin matchmaking and go to the Dam Battlegrounds map.
For this task, it’s best to use the pre-set Free Loadout instead of customizing your gear. You’ll be entering matches just to finish a quest and leave quickly, so a custom setup isn’t necessary.
You can find the Field Depot in several places on the Dam Battlegrounds map. I’ve highlighted two of the most convenient locations to help you find one quickly.
Field Depot appears as an old, rusty trailer with a large antenna. Before focusing on the quest, it’s a good idea to look inside for useful items. Also, be sure to check your surroundings for other players.
When it’s safe, climb the ladder to the Field Depot and begin fixing the antenna for the “Off the Radar” quest in *ARC Raiders*. Be aware that the antenna will create some noise during repairs, which could attract enemies, so stay vigilant.
After the antenna is fixed, immediately go to the closest extraction elevator to leave the area safely and finish the Off the Radar quest. If you die once you’ve completed the objective, you’ll have to start a new match and repeat the entire quest.
After finishing the “Off the Radar” quest in *ARC Raiders*, Shani will give you a Black (Hiker Color) Backpack as a reward.
