Since the conclusion of the ARC Raiders tech test 2, players residing in the Rust Belt region have exhibited symptoms of a post-raid letdown. These signs are diverse, but notably, there has been a surge in detective work within a Discord community, characterized by a heightened level of diligence and investigation.

Briefly, Embark released an update long past the conclusion of its public preview. Despite being available for under 10 minutes, this brief window allowed some quick-witted looters to search and potentially discover a potential release date disclosure.

The possibility exists that an Easter Egg was concealed within the inactive version of the game’s executable. As explained on Reddit by user kzrts, the Base64 code atop the PioneerGame.exe file directs to a countdown.

Checking the SHA1 hash of the executable matched those listed on SteamDB. While manipulating a SHA1 hash is theoretically feasible, in this case it’s highly improbable, if not entirely impractical.

The personalized Tick Counter link shows a decrease, leading to June 6th. Notably, this date corresponds to the beginning of Summer Game Fest 2025, which is organized by renowned figure Geoff Keighley, well-known for his work on The Game Awards.

When Is ARC Raiders Coming Out?

Up until now, the June 6th detail is the most specific information we have about ARC Raiders. But not everyone is certain that the countdown points directly to the game’s release date.

In our evaluation, the second technical test for ARC Raiders appeared quite similar to what we’d expect from a potential final version of the game.

The improvement since the first technology test six months ago is quite substantial, making it feel almost like an entirely new game when compared to the initial alpha test a year prior.

Speaking from the heart of an eager enthusiast, I must admit that the idea of sneakily releasing a game with such immense anticipation – though not unprecedented – certainly feels daring and somewhat improbable.

Currently, one of the popular hypotheses is that there’s a genuine hidden message in the ARC Raiders executable. However, it might merely be indicating that Embark Studios plans to showcase the game during the Summer Game Fest in June.

It’s uncertain if it will bring an announcement for a release date, but for now, all we can expect from ARC Raiders is a continuous buildup of anticipation.
