Embark Studios has revealed plans for new content in ARC Raiders throughout the rest of 2025. Players can look forward to additions like new weapons, special events, and quests, plus a brand new map to explore. They’re planning several other exciting features as well.
Just before the release of ARC Raiders, Embark Studios outlined their plans for the game after launch. They plan to release several major updates between now and the end of 2025, including new content, improvements to game balance, and bug fixes. Although details were limited initially, Embark’s Executive Producer, Aleksander Grondal, said they would share a detailed roadmap soon after the game became available.
ARC Raiders Adding New Map, Weapons, Events, and More by Year’s End
The studio has delivered on its commitment and shared a plan for new content coming in the rest of 2025. This plan details two big updates: North Line, launching in November, and Cold Snap, coming in December. Both updates will add new quests and events to ARC Raiders. However, only North Line will also introduce a new map called Stella Montis, making it the game’s fifth map overall.

What makes ARC Raiders really engaging is its mix of player-versus-player and player-versus-environment combat. Adding more maps could make this core gameplay even better and help the game stay popular for longer. This idea likely influenced Embark’s choice to release the Stella Montis map while the game is still new. The update coming in November 2025 will also introduce two new enemy machines: the Matriarch and the Shredder.
In December, the Cold Snap update will introduce several new features to the game, including Snowfall weather, the Flickering Flames event, and a new Raider Deck – which is our version of a battle pass. This update will also kick off a new cycle of Expeditions, starting in December 2025. Beyond these major updates, Embark plans to regularly add smaller content releases with more map conditions, challenges, achievements, and cosmetic items.
The first update for ARC Raiders arrived on October 31st, coinciding with the release of the 2025 content plan. Version 1.000.006 primarily focuses on fixing bugs. The game’s virtual tracking feature, called the Codex, has been temporarily turned off while developers resolve an issue preventing certain objectives from unlocking. Players can expect more small updates before the larger North Line update is released.
