Embark Studios is giving away up to three free cosmetic items for ARC Raiders through a Twitch Drop event and a special Discord reward. This comes after some players reacted to changes made in the recent Shrouded Sky update.
Many players are frustrated with recent changes to the game, including reduced item power and increased difficulty in obtaining Wolfpacks. Ongoing technical issues and bugs in ARC Raiders are also causing problems, especially in player-versus-player combat. However, the update did include a positive addition: three free cosmetic items for players to collect.

Embark Studios is celebrating the new ‘Shrouded Sky’ update for ARC Raiders with a special Twitch Drop event. Players can earn two free cosmetic items just by watching eligible streams: the Royal Steed charm (a little horse statue) and the Record Player charm (a miniature record player). Plus, if you connect your Discord account to your Embark ID, you’ll also get the Toy Robot charm, a cute, retro robot figure. This Discord reward is to thank the ARC Raiders community for reaching one million members!
You can claim the Twitch Drop until March 24th. The free Toy Robot reward on Discord will only be available until March 5th. Typically, once you unlock these rewards, they’ll be added to your account automatically.
How to Link Discord and Twitch to Embark ID
- Head to https://id.embark.games
- Log in with an active ARC Raiders account
- Select the Connected Platforms options
- Click Discord or Twitch and enter the required credentials to link the accounts
To earn rewards, viewers need to watch Twitch streams that have “Drops Enabled” turned on.
Embark Studios has a history of giving players free in-game items to celebrate big updates and achievements. For example, when the ‘Cold Snap’ update for ARC Raiders released, they offered free items through Twitch, including the Eye Band (a face cosmetic) and the Vintage Mic (a backpack charm). They also provided $10 worth of in-game currency, called Raider Tokens, during the holiday season.

One idea is that they’re getting ready to compete with the upcoming game Marathon from Bungie, which could draw players away from ARC Raiders. However, it’s more likely they’re just trying to increase the number of people watching ARC Raiders on Twitch.
Twitch viewership for the game ARC Raiders has dropped considerably in the past four months, according to data from TwitchTracker. The game peaked at 185,114 viewers on its launch date, October 30th, but had around 45,000 viewers by February 23rd – a large decrease, though still a decent number. It will be interesting to see if Embark Studios, known for creating popular extraction shooter games, can turn this around. Additionally, it’s unclear if the upcoming release of Marathon will affect how many people play or watch ARC Raiders.
