ARC Raiders Reveals Week 6 Trials Challenges

It’s a new month and a new week of challenges for ARC Raiders! Embark Studios has just launched Week 6 of its Trials system, giving players fresh objectives to complete for rewards and cosmetic items. You have until Monday, December 8th to achieve the highest scores on each challenge before the next set arrives.

With ARC Raiders gaining popularity, many new players are discovering the game daily. If you’re new to the Trials system, don’t worry – it’s straightforward and a great way to get weekly rewards. Each challenge lets you earn up to three stars, unlocking Uncommon, Rare, and Epic packs based on your performance. Trials also feature a community leaderboard where players compete for top rankings. The higher you climb on the leaderboard each week, the better your rank and the more rewards – like exclusive cosmetic items – you’ll receive.

How To Complete ARC Raiders Week 6 Trials

  • Damage Hornets
  • Deliver Carriables
  • Damage Rocketeers, Leapers, or Bastions
  • Destroy Pops
  • Open ARC Probes

December 1st marks the start of a new set of Trials Challenges in ARC Raiders. Many of these are straightforward for veteran players – things like damaging Hornets (a common enemy) and destroying Pops, both found throughout all maps, or simply delivering supplies. However, this week also includes some tougher challenges, specifically requiring damage to Rocketeers, Leapers, or Bastions – some of the game’s most dangerous enemies. If you’re aiming for a perfect three-star rating on that challenge, the best approach is to play a Night Raid. These raids feature a significantly higher enemy spawn rate, making it much easier to find the Rocketeers, Leapers, or Bastions you need.

This week’s challenge involves opening as many ARC Probes as you can during a single raid. While opening a Probe is easy, finding them can be tough because they appear randomly. Luckily, a special map modifier called Prospecting Probes occasionally appears in ARC Raiders. When active, this modifier significantly increases the number of Probes that spawn, making this Trial much easier to complete. You can find Prospecting Probes on four of the game’s five maps: Dam Battlegrounds, Buried City, Blue Gate, and Spaceport.

Players are starting to get frustrated with the weekly Trials in the game, despite the rewards they offer. Some are calling the system poorly designed and in need of major changes. A key complaint is that it’s difficult for solo players to compete, as groups can easily earn more points together. Many also feel the challenges are repetitive and uninspired, with Embark being criticized for reusing the same content week after week.

Embark hasn’t yet responded to player feedback on Trials, but good news for fans: a large content update is coming this month. If you’re looking for something different from the weekly challenges, the ‘Cold Snap’ patch will be released sometime this month, as detailed in the 2025 ARC Raiders Roadmap. This update includes a new Snowfall Map Condition, a new event, a new Raider Deck, additional quests, and the launch of the first Expedition.
