Today, Embark Studios launched the Expedition Project in ARC Raiders, allowing players to finally benefit from their recent efforts and venture beyond Speranza. This acts as a sort of global reset for the game, but it’s unique because players can choose whether or not to participate.
Players have noticed a countdown in ARC Raiders suggesting the next Expedition event will begin on or around February 22nd.
One Finished and Into Another
If you finished your Expedition Project today, you’ll have to start a new one from the very beginning. This means you’ll be back at level one, with nothing in your inventory, no skills learned, and all your crafting stations will be empty.
You’ll also get some temporary advantages, including a slight increase to your storage space, and a unique new skin called Patchwork.
Players finishing the Expedition Project have discovered they can immediately begin preparing for their next caravan. Once the current expedition is reset, you automatically move on to the next one, repeating the process of gathering resources to embark on another journey.
Now to what’s next.
Players of the game ARC Raiders on PC have discovered a way to see future content by changing the date on their computers while playing. This effectively fast-forwards the game’s internal calendar, allowing them to preview upcoming maps, challenges, and other features that haven’t been released yet.
So, if you finished the Expedition, you got a new timer counting down. But honestly, if you’re a bit of a gamer and know how to tweak things, you could’ve already seen that timer pop up without actually completing it!
Given that each Expedition loop, or ‘season’, lasts two months, this was hardly rocket science.
Unlike the Expedition itself. That’s rocket science.
If you’re curious about when the next Expedition will be available in ARC Raiders, we have some information. However, it’s important to remember that plans can change, as the recent Expedition was previously delayed by the developers at Embark Studios.
