ARC Raiders Stella Montis Has a Another Glitch That Takes You Out of Bounds

The community for the game ARC Raiders has discovered yet another glitch on the Stella Montis map, just after the previous one was fixed. Players are sharing a new way to exploit the game and go outside the intended play area, frustrating those who want a fair gaming experience. With the holidays approaching, there are worries it could take a while for the developers, Embark Studios, to release a patch to address the problem.

For several weeks, a frustrating glitch in ARC Raiders was giving players an unfair edge. It wasn’t a complex exploit – players could simply use an invisible zipline in one spot on the map to pass through the ceiling and move around undetected. This was a serious problem, especially because ARC Raiders is an “extraction shooter.” That means when your character dies, you lose all the items you’ve collected, making it incredibly frustrating to be eliminated by someone exploiting the glitch. While similar issues in games like Battlefield 6 or Call of Duty would be annoying, the stakes were much higher in ARC Raiders due to the potential for lost progress.

After some delays, Embark released a new update for ARC Raiders on December 11th, addressing a significant exploit and other problems. While a small update (version 1.6.0), it successfully removed a zipline on Stella Montis that players were using to easily leave the playable area. The update also fixed a collision issue in Blue Gate that let players fall through walls, another way to get outside the map’s boundaries. Additionally, the patch corrected problems with certain objects not providing proper cover from bullets or ARC vision, and fixed a spot on the Spaceport Launch Tower where players could be shot through a wall.

Stella Montis Has Another Severe Exploit

Players of ARC Raiders have quickly discovered a new glitch on the Stella Montis map. Just a day after the latest update, users on Twitter shared a way to escape the game boundaries – this time by getting wedged between two large machines. Once stuck, players can trigger a “fix stuck player” option, which teleports them through the ceiling and out of the map. This allows them to move around unseen and even eliminate other players, effectively exploiting the game again.

It took Embark a long time to resolve the previous Stella Montis issue, so this new problem might not be fixed quickly. The timing is also difficult, as the holiday season is near and Embark’s team plans to take a break. They’ve announced that updates, which were previously released weekly, will now come out on Tuesdays, but the team will be taking time off over the winter holidays to return refreshed and ready to work on more updates in January.

A big new update is coming to ARC Raiders on December 16th! The free ‘Cold Snap’ update will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, and includes a new Snowfall map setting, a special event called Flickering Flames, a new Raider Deck, and new Quests. This update also marks the beginning of Expeditions, letting players who are prepared to start over leave the Rust Belt and begin a fresh game.
