The new Stella Montis map in ARC Raiders is a complex network of rooms and tunnels that can be confusing at first. But once you get familiar with it, you’ll quickly find yourself carrying tons of valuable gear. This hidden mountain location wasn’t just a research center; it was built to protect humanity from disaster, with vaults for seeds and important cultural artifacts.
The Cultural Archives are a valuable location, understandably since they were built to safeguard important art and literature. This guide will show you how to use the Stella Montis Archives Key to get inside. While there are a few ways to enter, I’ll focus on a hidden tunnel that takes you directly there.
Where To Use The Stella Montis Archives Key
First, choose the Stella Montis map shown in the image. Remember to keep your key safe – put it in your pocket! This room is quite spacious and could contain a lot of valuable items, so it’s a good idea to use an augment that increases your carrying capacity.
How To Get Into The Cultural Archives
The archives are easy to reach using the two methods shown by the arrows in the images. Let’s start with a hidden vent – it provides a convenient way to access the archives from the west side of the map.
If you start in the middle of the map, or on the west side, head towards the communication area shown in the image.
Hidden Tunnel Location
Once you’re in the communication area, search for the vent opening seen in the picture below.
Once you get to the end of the vent, turn right and continue down the hallway until you spot a sign for the cultural archives.
At the end of the hallway, there’s a staircase and a zipline seen in the picture below.
Descend To The Archives
Head down to the second floor and look for the sign marking the entrance to the cultural archives, as shown in the image.
Make your way to the north-east corner of the archives and locate the door seen below.
Find And Unlock The Storage Room
Now all we need to do is open the room, and make sure no one tries to steal anything while we’re inside. To be extra careful, I suggest closing and securing the door behind you – maybe with jolt mines or trigger-activated grenades.
Bringing a Raider Hatch Key is a great way to increase your chances of successfully extracting.
Lucky Spawn Location
Near this locked door, there’s a place where you start the game. If you begin at the northern end of the cultural archives, you can quickly ride a zipline down and look to your left to find the door.
Okay, so heads up, fellow Raider. The archives are seriously dangerous. They’re crawling with ARCs, and you can almost always count on running into a Shredder in there. I’m going to be extra careful!
