In ARC Raiders, the main gameplay involves dropping onto maps, collecting valuable loot, and then safely returning to Speranza. But be careful! Both dangerous ARC Machines and other players can quickly ruin your run, and you risk losing everything you’ve collected. Luckily, you can use ‘Safe Pockets’ in your inventory to protect your most important items from being lost if you die. This guide will explain how Safe Pockets work and how to expand their capacity for your character.
How to Use Safe Pockets in ARC Raiders (Prevent Item Loss)
Okay, so in ARC Raiders, Safe Pockets are a total lifesaver. Basically, they let you lock away your best stuff – you know, the really valuable loot like legendary gear, blueprints, or anything you’d hate to lose. The awesome part is, even if I go down during a raid, everything in my Safe Pocket is guaranteed to come back with me. Seriously, everyone should be using these for their most important items!
In ARC Raiders, to use Safe Pockets, you need to have an Augment equipped – any Augment except the “Free Loadout Augment.” Having an Augment active adds a safe pocket to your inventory.
When you find something valuable during raids, easily move it to your Safe Pocket by dragging and dropping, or by using the action button on a controller and selecting “Move to Safe Pocket”. Even if your character dies, anything stored in your Safe Pocket will be automatically saved and returned to you.
How to Increase Safe Pockets in ARC Raiders
Okay, so when you first start playing, you only have one Safe Pocket. But don’t worry, you can get more! To upgrade to two Safe Pockets, you need to find the Looting MK. 2 Augment. You can snag it during raids, or if you prefer, you can just buy it from Trader Lance over at the Clinic. It’s a pretty useful upgrade, trust me!
The Looting MK. 2 Augment lets players have two Safe Pockets for carrying items, and upgrading to the Epic version increases that to three in ARC Raiders. This is really helpful because Topside is a dangerous place, and it’s frustrating to lose the loot you’ve worked hard to collect.
